I loved building this Train Cabin book nook set—the smell of the wood and the sense of accomplishment were amazing. Just be sure to handle the motor part carefully to avoid breaking anything during assembly.

Ginzan Onsen was the most challenging kit I've ever assembled, and I was a bit intimidated at first. However, I loved how the instructions broke it down into smaller sections, making it more manageable. The directions were clear, even though the project itself wasn’t easy. My favorite detail is the two trees. I definitely recommend this kit if you've done book nooks before and are ready for a bigger project. It took me two weekends to finish!

The details on this train cabin book nook are incredible! My family and I spent hours enjoying it together. It took us a few days to complete, and while it wasn’t easy, it was a lot of fun!

I had a blast building this Ginzan Onsen set and loved the smell of the wood. It felt great to finish it! Just a heads-up: be extra careful when assembling the motor, as it’s easy to break things

Although it was a bit daunting at first, I managed to complete this kit to my liking. Be prepared to assemble every piece of it, as everything is built piece by piece. My main issue with the kit was the instructions; there were many places where clearer guidance would have been helpful instead of just relying on pictures. Having a variety of crafting supplies from other projects was extremely useful. In the end , I was really happy with this Ginzan Onsen book nook and even with a couple of downs...

This Ginzan Onsen was my second wooden model build, and it was really enjoyable to watch it come together. Make sure to follow the steps exactly—no shortcuts! Be gentle and patient with the pieces, as some are thin and can break easily. Be extra careful with the smaller pieces. Have fun with it—I did!

Some pieces might break, but they include spares, and you can always glue them. It’s a nice little gift and puzzle for those who enjoy it. It moves when it’s done right. It’s easy if you just follow the instructions.

This was really fun to do and everything was made just right. The instructions are super clear, and there's support if you get stuck. Totally worth the money! Thank you Anavrin!

Some of the pieces are pretty fragile, but honestly, I think anyone can do it no matter their skill level. The instructions were mostly fine, but the lighting diagrams and moving parts were a bit confusing. I figured it out, though. No missing pieces, and it was fun to build. It does feel more fragile than other kits I've done, but it's well made and looks pretty.

I'm super impressed with the design and detail of this kit! As a miniature maker, I really appreciate all the work that went into it. I can't wait to paint and customize it for my bookshelf. There was a tiny bit of damage during shipping, but Anavrin was great about it and open to suggestions.

My train cabin book nook is really well-made and beautiful. Some of the instructions were a bit unclear, but a little imagination helped. I wish they made more moving book nooks like this. The paw print chairs are just adorable!

The Magic Market was a gift for my 30 year old daughter and she loves it! It was wonderful watching her assemble it and she has it set up in her library. Will most likely order more!

I gave this kit to a friend who is a bit house bound atm due to a heart condition. Having spent a lot of time reading, watching tv, doing jigsaw puzzles and so on this kit makes a lovely change and is perfect for him to do while he awaits an operation. He was delighted to receive it and I look forward to seeing it finished.

I purchased this as a gift for a friend who trained to be an architect and enjoys jigsaw puzzles. It seemed the ideal unique gift and he seemed very intrigued when he opened it.

“The Abandoned Submarine” was, overall, a fun and satisfying build experience. I’m in my mid sixties, and during my pre-teens, I assembled my share of model cars and airplanes, part of my good childhood memories. Not long ago, I came upon Anavrin’s collection of “book nook” kits, became intrigued as they brought my modeling childhood to mind, and I considered trying my hand at building one. I have a keen interest in the ocean and underwater exploration so “The Abandoned Submarine” was of spec...

I loved this Ginzan Onsen book nook! It is absolutely adorable. This one is not for people who haven’t put one together before, and it would be difficult for a younger person, but it is so much fun! With an adult’s help, a preteen could assemble it. However, I believe it is geared more toward people over the age of 14. The lights and motion scene work, and the details are so cute! It’s priced right as well. You’ll enjoy it if you take your time and pay attention to the small details.

I'm so happy with this Ginzan Onsen! I got this as a present for my son for his shelf. It's amazing quality, will keep him busy putting it all together, and he's excited to see it. It looks fantastic and will be such fun to put together

This is such a lovely craft project. It forced me to slow down and be precise, not easy with a hectic schedule. A great way to decompress in the evenings!

It’s cool but for the price I expected it to be better than it is. Ours had two pieces that were not cut properly so they didn’t fit together (everything is precut, you just assemble it). We waited until the very end in the hopes that we had it wrong but we didn’t, we ended up cutting off the interlocking pieces and just gluing those pieces together. Also the sensor that turns on the light is glitchy. It takes a while to get the sensor to detect the heat of your finger (guidebook says it’s a hea...

I absolutely loved this one , I’ve done other ROKR puzzles but I’d say this might be my favorite. The detail is incredible. All the parts were there as advertised with lots of spares, it was complicated and intricate enough that I found it nice and challenging, and it actually works and is just charming! I did some minor revisions, like I cut my own pictures out of magazines and framed them above the seats, and I added a miniature cat and a tiny tin locomotive that I’ve had for a while. Use a g...

This Train Cabin book nook was one of the best book nooks for clarity of instruction and quality of wood, I love the final product and it's one of my favorite book nooks

What a fun experience. I built models as a kid and this is just too fun. The only problem I see is where am I going to put all of these?

I liked it at first glance. The deep sea diver had a personal touch as my father dove in the MK4 suit as well, only as a US Navy Deep Sea Salvage Diver. I got the bookend for my sister as a birthday gift.

This 1940s train cabin set has many pieces and requires patience, but it pays off in the end! It would be nice if everything was included (such as glue), so make sure you have all your supplies on hand before starting. It looks great once assembled and is a fantastic way to spend some free time!

This Ginzan Onsen so satisfying to put together! The attention to detail, from all the punch-outs to the instructions, was more than I expected. I'm absolutely thrilled with the project and the end result!

I'm new to these activities, but I really liked the look of this one, so I decided to invest some time and money into it. When it arrived, it was wrapped up nicely and everything was neatly packaged, so you knew exactly what you needed and where to find it. I'm excited to start building this train cabin book nook!

I just started working on this 1940s Train Cabin book nook, and I think it's an awesome project. It has all the pieces you need and really simple instructions to follow. It's going to take some time, but I'm super excited to get into it. I would definitely recommend it if you enjoy this kind of thing and like creating something detailed and intricate.

I absolutely did!!!!! I followed most of the instructions but I mostly decorated it as I pleased. It was really fun and whimsical, the details you could stare at for hours, the lights and motor were the hardest parts for me since some of the cables where pretty far from each other to be able to connect them easily enough BUT doable. Mines took forever to make only cus I was working on it while also working on my day job taking costumer service calls lol but it’s a perfect way to relax (especiall...

This was my first time putting together a miniature set, and I was impressed. The pieces were good quality, and the instructions were easy to read. It's not an easy task if you've never done one of these before! It took me several days to complete. The only downside was that some pieces didn't stay on their page well, especially the bigger ones, making it hard to keep them organized.

The end result of my train cabin is very cute, even though some of the smaller bits got broken. It would be great if it came with extras of those smaller pieces.

I absolutely love my train cabin book nook, but it’s definitely on the more advanced side. There’s a lot of light and motion wiring, and some of the wooden pieces are very delicate to remove. That being said, the end result is beautiful. Most of the smaller paper-type items were precut, making it much easier. It’s a unique build, unlike many others. It will take a while, but it’s worth it for a beautiful end result.
