It was interesting putting all the gears together in the beginning wondering if I needed to keep track of which one was which later. However each one was visually different. How I had to mount them was different than I expected though.
I realized I had to level it front to back as well as side to side also. My clock does run, but it wants to stop after a period of time even though the spring is still has time on it. Maybe more wax?

Loved the clear instructions and all the extra pieces. My only comment would be to indicate a test run of the mechanical part when it’s built. I had some troubleshooting with the gears near the end but all in all, loved it and the look at the end!!

These are beautiful! However, not all the pieces fit easily. I ended up buying two because I gave one for my parents’ anniversary. First one, the gears were not tight enough and they broke, so no more engine. The rod that goes thru the luggage rack doesn’t fit. I had the same issue with both. Really fun to build. This was my first model kit and it was pretty simple. Some bits were loose and needed glue and some bits need a real push to get in. Nothing broke though which was good. Going to buy another and keep building!

This was so fun to put together! It was my first time. A few notes: put glue in a cup and use a toothpick to spread it. Works well. Also, I kept cutting the wire and ended up giving up on the lighting. But I loved it and highly recommend it!

This was my second experience with this type of kit. Challenging, but if you take your time and test fit every piece before gluing, it goes together very well.
I have it on display and when company is over, I actuate the lights and just step back and listen to all of the rave reviews! Very, very impressive model display!

This book nook was an absolute joy to make. The clear instructions and the fact that many parts had a backup made it very easy to put together. I hardly had to file the wood at all as The quality of the wood was so good that filing was unnecessary. The finished nook was lovely, I'm so pleased, I can't recommend this nook enough to other nook makers.

When I saw these models advertised on Facebook I knew I would enjoy them. Because I love the classic and elegant looks of the scenes. But I'm surprised how much I enjoy assembling them! So much fun! I even love the smell of the pressed wood, or whatever the material is. And my wife is surprised as well. I told her it's my man dollhouse. Directions were very good. The pieces were good high quality. Working with small pieces are usually very difficult for me but, this kit was not that hard to put together. My only problem was with the LED strip lights. They worked when I tested them but, did not work when I finished the project. I’m still trying to figure out how to get lighting into my cute bakery.
