I really love doing these miniature kits. I completed 5 so far. Each one has some personal customizing. Hours of open. Credit cards accepted, etc. With the ‘bakery’, I completely closed it in. It is no longer open faced.

Loved the clear instructions and all the extra pieces. My only comment would be to indicate a test run of the mechanical part when it’s built. I had some troubleshooting with the gears near the end but all in all, loved it and the look at the end!!

It was interesting putting all the gears together in the beginning wondering if I needed to keep track of which one was which later. However each one was visually different. How I had to mount them was different than I expected though. I realized I had to level it front to back as well as side to side also. My clock does run, but it wants to stop after a period of time even though the spring is still has time on it. Maybe more wax?

These are beautiful! However, not all the pieces fit easily. I ended up buying two because I gave one for my parents’ anniversary. First one, the gears were not tight enough and they broke, so no more engine. The rod that goes thru the luggage rack doesn’t fit. I had the same issue with both. I had to use precision files to make the holes a little larger. The engine. Is a bit noisy. You recommended oil - which? Really fun to build. This was my first model kit and it was pretty simple. Some bits were loose and needed glue and some bits need a real push to get in. Nothing broke though which was good. Going to buy another and keep building!

So much fun and so relaxing. I worked on it for about an hour a day after work for a week. It was a great day to wind down after a long days work and so rewarding to see the final product and knowing that you did that with your own two hands. The quality is excellent, it looks amazing and I can’t wait to get more. I’ve been looking into different hobbies that I could get into. This is it.

It was fun assembling it! There are some mislabeled pieces on the instructions, but not hard to figure out. The details really captured the spirit of Jiu Fen, and I've been the a few times. Can't wait to build my next one.

Enjoyed building this kit! Some of the fits were very challenging, but overall a nice kit. All of the paper items had to be cut with a straight edge and razor blade, previous kits I have built the paper items came precut.

This was such a fun way to get i to miniature building! My first piece, so I could probably have been neater with the glue. It looks lovely on my shelf and is a wonderful way to teleport away in to smaller, simpler, sweeter world. Very thoughtfully designed product and has detailed and helpful directions.

When I saw these models advertised on Facebook I knew I would enjoy them. Because I love the classic and elegant looks of the scenes. But I'm surprised how much I enjoy assembling them! So much fun! I even love the smell of the pressed wood, or whatever the material is. And my wife is surprised as well. I told her it's my man dollhouse. The detail and thoroughness of the designs are quite impressive. It's nice to have a new hobby to relax with.

This was the first model that I have built since I was a kid, and I thoroughly enjoyed it! It was fun to build and satisfying to show off when finished. The quality exceeded my expectations in both finish and level of detail. I was in Asia earlier this year, and the model brought back positive memories of some of the beautiful places I visited. It's time to order my next kit. Based on the quality of the kit and of their customer service team, it will definitely be another Anavrin model.

It was an easy build and parts fit together quite well. Because of all the small smooth plastic parts a stronger glue than simple paper glue works best as the bond will break too easily and you’ll end up having to reglue over and over. II appreciated the ease of the precut paper scenes for ease of use. It was quite relaxing and fun compared to many other kits manufactured by other companies.

This was so fun to put together! It was my first time. A few notes: put glue in a cup and use a toothpick to spread it. Works well. Also, I kept cutting the wire and ended up giving up on the lighting. But I loved it and highly recommend it!

I was a little hesitant to buy something from an instagram ad, but I’m glad I did. The speed of shipping, product quality, and customer service were all great. Shipping was a little slow, but that doesn’t say anything about your product. I really had so much fun with the construction of the bookstore. It was several hours of great enjoyment and my granddaughter loved the finished product. I would definitely do another one.

Building this was a real challenge, lots and lots of tiny, fragile wooden parts, a couple of which broke and had to be repaired before continuing. Tiny metallic stickers also were difficult to apply, and I couldn’t get a lot of them in place perfectly. I’m not sure how many hours I put into it but I worked on it for weeks. The end product is really super cool, though.

This was my second experience with this type of kit. Challenging, but if you take your time and test fit every piece before gluing, it goes together very well. I have it on display and when company is over, I actuate the lights and just step back and listen to all of the rave reviews! Very, very impressive model display! This book nook was an absolute joy to make. The clear instructions and the fact that many parts had a backup made it very easy to put together. I hardly had to file the wood at all as the quality of the wood was so good that filing was unnecessary. The finished nook was lovely, I'm so pleased, I can't recommend this nook enough to other nook makers.

The model looked beautiful, I placed it on my bookshelf with all my books and it just captivates the eye. I really loved the quality of this book nook! At first I was intimidated by all the sheets of parts, literally, every bit of it was pieced together… from the steps to the tiny street lights, and even to the tiny little table and benches inside one of the buildings… I can’t wait to get my next one. Before buying it I had read some reviews and among the positive ones I found some negative ones: shipping, delivery times, quality of the material. Instead I have to say that everything went well, the quality of the material is exceptional, the coloring of the scene very suggestive. Too bad that once everything is assembled, many details are not appreciated because they are hidden or too far back in the scene. They are appreciated while building. In the end it is an excellent product!
