Good quality kit. I have mine connected to a 52V battery and it seems to work good. My only problem is that the controller p-settings don’t have a 52V option, so the battery indicator won’t be accurate for me. The Installation instructions are not very helpful, and neglect to mention much, for example that the PAS sensor must be fitted to the non-crank side. Incredible service, the 250W conversion kit came within 2 days, totally free postage. Price excellent, and included free tools and very cool free front light that runs from motor. This is my second ebike, planned as a backup to my 500W Bafang mid-drive-fitted bike. I was surprised at how well it copes with the steep hills of Coogee. Fast delivery, great battery, excellent range. Was vibrating slightly when riding, so removed mount, wrapped frame in gladwrap, bead of sikoflex along bottom of mount ea side, fitted to frame, smoothed sikoflex, let go off, removed gladwrap. No vibration now.

Triangle battery has more anchor points so secures really nice. So far 26% used on setting 9 covered 103 km with another 74% to go. Ideally would love some sort of cover even though its a solid plastic I feel more at ease.

Unfortunately it didn't fit the Scott bike I wanted it for however I did have a Giant MTB that I was able to use. The installation was easy and didn't take long at all. As far as riding, it is brilliant. I tested the range and I got 42Km's using 80% of battery life with pedal assist 1. The pedal assist feature is excellent and I have hardly used the throttle feature at all. Well worth getting!

Delivery was excellent and earlier than told. The kit was easy to install although instructions a little vague particularly for wiring and sensor locations. A key switch would be handy instead of the very small switch on battery pack, mainly for security reasons. Otherwise would recommend this product and supplier.

The kit arrived quickly as promised. The installation was, for me atleast, simple and straight forward. I had watched some YouTube tips and tricks which helped a lot. This is my old Italian carbon fibre frame race bike with a Bafang mid drive motor, Cap Rouge battery and Lekkie front chain ring. I couldn’t be happier! Everyone said that it couldn’t be done but I worked out how to mount the battery without using the drink bottle threads. The original Bafang chain ring sat a little bit too much to the right. The Lekkie chain ring has fixed the chain alignment with the rear cluster.

Only took one night to install, surprised at the power at turbo and speed, most of my riding has been at the Tour setting and I find that great for what I need. I wanted a bike that I can ride long distance and get a bit of assistance to help me ride further. So far I have ridden 60km as the longest ride on tour mode and still show nearly full battery. I wonder what range I will get 👍

I took 1x TongSheng 48V 500W TSDZ2-B Mid Drive Motor Electric Bike Conversion Kit and 1x Cap Rouge 48V 15AH battery and mated them to a slightly modified Apollo Stowaway 20" wheel Folding Bike and the result was a power tool even Tim the Toolman Taylor would be esctatic about. My wife's hybrid put up some resistance (seized crank lever bolts and bottom bracket nut) and the rack mountings required some 'work arounds'. However, the conversion was worth it in the end. The 500w motor is surprisingly powerful and the rack battery doesn't make the bike feel too tail heavy. We can now tackle hilly rides that were way out of reach before.

First time e-bike conversion, following a lot of research, so was aware of issues that may arise, and some did, but relatively easily overcome. I converted a road bike, and things can get a little cramped on that frame. Now we're up and running smoothly, I'm very pleased by the 350W Tongsheng performance - exactly what I wanted: still getting a solid workout, but with variable help on tap when wanted. First time e-bike user. I decided to upgrade over battery in kit after research on the importance of the battery. This one has plenty of capacity - 100K's so far and still showing full from initial charge. In retrospect, a smaller, lighter battery with less capacity would probably have been sufficient for my use, and better suited to my build. But if you are planning long trips, this will get you there.

Awesome bit of kit for an awesome price. I love how my TREK Marlin 7 handles it with some minor upgrades (ebike rated chain, larger chainring etc). Highly recommend the Bafang 48v kit with a 17.5ah battery. Its worth it.
