I took the pills the first two days and the there was a definite decrease in urge for alcohol. Unfortunately, I continued to drink so the effects of the pills no longer took effect. After about 3 weeks on the extra strength formula, I have not noticed a difference in cravings at all. Also, on the website, it shows the proprietary ingredient as 1445 mg, on the package I received, it is listed as 1150 mg. I may give the Max strength a try, just to see if that works for me, but it is quite expensive.
