Such a great musical gift. I bought some for my whole family as stocking stuffers and we had a hoot watching the you tube tutorials and playing. I have the large and medium spoons and they both fit perfectly in the bag. Makes it so easy to transport and keep them looking nice! I actually take them with me much more than I used to now that I have an easy way to carry them which has made me a better player since I spend more time with them!

As I fondly remember learning to play the spoons when I was a teenager, I bought spoons for myself, just before a family holiday where the age range was 78 to 3-months. I took the spoons along and everyone had a go. My 7-year-old grandson obviously had some natural talent with the spoons. We watched some on-line videos and he was inspired, so we are buying smaller spoons that better fit his hands. Meanwhile, I’ll work to play the spoons better so my grandson and I can play together.

These Heritage spoons are very easy to play from the get go with the simple patterns and tricks and should be easy to master the more complex stuff with practice. Lovely ‘worn in’ finish that adds to the vibe. Getting the fast rolls takes a bit of practise, but even a beginner like me can make a good basic sound from the get go. Worth getting the storage bag to keep them cost. Would make a great gift for that person who has (nearly) everything.
