I’m 74 years old and I’ve always been intrigued by people who could pick up 2 ordinary spoons and make such wonderful and happy music. I can’t play any instruments but I thought that I might be able to play the spoons. As I really couldn’t hold normal spoons I did some research and found Heritage Spoons, their spoons are beautifully made and in gorgeous colours. I chose the red set and have, with help from the Heritage Spoons videos, started my attempt to play the spoons! At last!

Bought as a gift, but I did play with them a bit before wrapping! Beautifully made, the wood is soft and luxurious to the touch. The sound is fun, but not necessarily easy to conjure. After a few tries and video searches, I managed to coax a few notes from them. I highly recommend!

bought these for Christmas presents. I am excited about giving them. One thing that i noticed is that the wood is not as smooth in the indent part that makes the piece a spoon. But otherwise they are fantastic. I look forward to ordering more. Plus the bag is a great piece too. I will definitely order the bags with all future orders. The spoons are beautifully built and the tone is rich. I really like the website lesson on how to play them. I have both the small and medium sized spoons. Both sizes deliver great tones and a nice feel in your hands. Considering the craftsmanship, they are a bargain. I can't imagine anyone being disappointed with the purchase of either size of the spoons.

Bought one of each size for Christmas. Had my 12 yo help wrap, she trialed each, and she’s not stopped beaming with excitement, even though they aren’t for her (she’ll share). The large ones easiest to play through the fingers, but all are amazing to play even with ZERO skill and musical training. The aesthetic and small business elements make me feel a special warmth in a world of plastic from Amazon. Shipping was quick, package came easy to wrap and pretty. They should cost more.

I now have 2 sets of musical spoons, a large and a medium size. I love them both! They are beautifully crafted, very easy to play and a great deal of fun. Even as a beginner, like myself, you can achieve good results quickly, which is very encouraging! The tone is superior!
