I purchased the large spoons as a gift for my brother and I have no regrets. Sounds great and he’s having tons of fun getting to know the instrument. It’s beautiful, well made, and sturdy.

Bought for an 11 year old grandson. Started with confusion, then suspicion. Immediately read the instructions (cause he does that) and, poof, instant success! Small steps lead to a happy outcome!

Husband felt left out from sons several bands. He now has his spoons. Still not sure how the sons going to like his 70 year old dad in a blues band playing spoons. Dad always wanted to be a rock star,He can only dream I feel. But he is enjoying learning to play and I thank you for the replacement spoons that arrived today . Replacing the cracked one. I’m 74 years old and I’ve always been intrigued by people who could pick up 2 ordinary spoons and make such wonderful and happy music. I can’t play any instruments but I thought that I might be able to play the spoons. As I really couldn’t hold normal spoons I did some research and found Heritage Spoons, their spoons are beautifully made and in gorgeous colours. I chose the red set and have, with help from the Heritage Spoons videos, started my attempt to play the spoons! At last!

Bought as a gift, but I did play with them a bit before wrapping! Beautifully made, the wood is soft and luxurious to the touch. The sound is fun, but not necessarily easy to conjure. After a few tries and video searches, I managed to coax a few notes from them. I highly recommend!

Great quality spoons, lovely tone and very well made. These spoon are a pleasure to play, and I now have various sizes, each producing slightly different tones to compliment the music. All I need to do now is to do more practice!!

Novice to playing these but loving them. Now practicing everyday and performed with them once already. Wish I'd got the blue ones however. Might get another pair. A Xmas gift to myself. They're the best - have never been disappointed with a present to myself.

I am really interested in percussion that you don’t see often so these musical spoons was a very good buy. They are very well made. The sound is fantastic. bought these for Christmas presents. I am excited about giving them. One thing that i noticed is that the wood is not as smooth in the indent part that makes the piece a spoon. But otherwise they are fantastic. I look forward to ordering more. Plus the bag is a great piece too. I will definitely order the bags with all future orders. The spoons are beautifully built and the tone is rich. I really like the website lesson on how to play them. I have both the small and medium sized spoons. Both sizes deliver great tones and a nice feel in your hands. Considering the craftsmanship, they are a bargain. I can't imagine anyone being disappointed with the purchase of either size of the spoons.

Bought one of each size for Christmas. Had my 12 yo help wrap, she trialed each, and she’s not stopped beaming with excitement, even though they aren’t for her (she’ll share). The large ones easiest to play through the fingers, but all are amazing to play even with ZERO skill and musical training. The aesthetic and small business elements make me feel a special warmth in a world of plastic from Amazon. Shipping was quick, package came easy to wrap and pretty. They should cost more.

I now have 2 sets of musical spoons, a large and a medium size. I love them both! They are beautifully crafted, very easy to play and a great deal of fun. Even as a beginner, like myself, you can achieve good results quickly, which is very encouraging! The tone is superior! I have had very good customer service from Heritage Musical Spoons and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who is interested in learning to play the spoons.

This was my 8th purchase of a Heritage musical spoon. The craftsmanship is amazing. There are so many different sound tones that come from this fun instrument. Playing the spoons with these spoons is probably one of my most favorite things to do! Will obviously be buying more! I love These wooden spoons!
