This was an early Christmas gift and my son loves it. I would have chosen the small vs the large for him. (He’s 8) He loves learning to play it anyways, and the YouTube videos helped.

I ordered the medium sized spoons for my nephew because he writes music and i thought these would make an interesting percussion in his music. I'm based in England and ordered at the beginning of December. They arrived in very good time, and were beautifully made, nice and light, yet sturdy.

My brother is a musician. He plays dozens of instruments and lives his life always having an instrument within arms reach. He knew what they were the moment his hand closed around them (still wrapped in the paper). He loves them ! I think it’s one of the best reactions I’ve ever gotten from him. He took them out and began playing them immediately ! They really are beautifully crafted.

WOW! We hit the jackpot with this surprise Christmas gift to our grandkids, a family with 8 kids, ranging in ages from 9 to 21. Right away several of them started using it, and with lots of laughter and smiles were already getting the hang of it and producing such wonderful sound and rhythms! Beautifully made (they were so delighted with the appearance and feel!), and now we just need to order more for them!

I ordered the spoons for a Christmas gift. After a few minutes of using, one of the spoons broke. I’m going to assume it was faulty piece of wood because they were very well made. I contacted Heritage and they quickly sent out a new pair. Excellent customer service!

Got as a present for my drum playing nephew. I wasn't sure how it would go, but within 2 hours he hadn't put them down and was rocking the spoon playing. I kept wanting to ask if I could steal them to play. (Please note, I did preplay before wrapping them to make sure they worked properly). As a side note, they are beautiful and well made!

My son is a drummer and rhythms have run through his hands and feet at all times, since he was a young boy. 3 years ago, at the age of 27, he was in a bad car accident that damaged his right arm and he is still working through surgeries and therapy to regain use of his thumb and index finger. This is a gift for my grandsons birthday in November so I don't have any photos to share yet. These feel like a quality product, the wood is beautiful and it has a very nice tone to it.
