Being a drummer it was a no brainer! Purchased a large set over a year ago and as my grandkids continued to blow me away with their improving skills I recently purchased all three sizes due to giving away my original set to my granddaughter who is in my opinion as good as anyone! Great quality, a fantastic percussion instrument for all. Practice makes perfect and these spoons can be learned by everyone!

Lovely ‘worn in’ finish that adds to the vibe. Getting the fast rolls takes a bit of practise, but even a beginner like me can make a good basic sound from the get go. Worth getting the storage bag to keep them cost. Would make a great gift for that person who has (nearly) everything.

I've been playing spoons with a bass, piano, percussion trio for a while and these are a joy to play and have a great sound. I can produce many more sounds and effects with these. The delivery of my spoons was delayed, but Matthieu kept me posted and offered choices on dealing with the delay. They went above what I would have expected. I’ve only worked with the spoons twice and I have to say it’s harder than it looks! But it’s also a lot of fun. I’ll enjoy getting better as I play more.

I bought the large spoons. Love the curve of the wood on the bottom to fit my pinky, ring and middle fingers. Edges but not sharp edges. Being the large size, they are cool for me with adult large hands but may not with smaller hands. Because of weight difference, it also takes a bit more effort to move the large spoons, but to get the deeper wood tone, you must do what is necessary. These spoons are so much fun to play! I got the medium for my first pair, but I think I should have gone with the large. The medium sounds great but I believe I can get the sounds I want better with the large. I don’t know what it’s called but it’s when you run your finger between the spoons getting that buzz.
