I bought them for my grandson who is a percussionist at his high school. Over the years I have acquired several different instruments. When I saw the spoons I thought it would make a good addition. They are well made, sturdy and look nice. Seem easy to use and nice sound but I not the one to ask.

We LOVE our Musical Spoons. I bought some for my husband and I last year, and for my sisters family. This year we bought them for my brothers family and for two of my daughters families. I ordered these medium spoons for the family at Christmas. They are works of art. They are made out of wood and the design is brilliant. I am not musically inclined but when I got them I gave them a try after watching one of the videos to explain how to play them. They are easy to play and get a rhythm going. Have all three sizes now, and all I have to do is learn how to play them. The hardest fundamental for me is the upward glide. The spoons are all a little different in tone, volume, and speed. Will be fun to lay down multi-tracks and throw in the whole kitchen drawer! So far, my favorite for overall tone and playability (for me!) is the medium size.
