I am a musician and in a whim I purchased the maple large spoons from Heritage. They are beautifully made and a blast to play. Recommend watching YouTube videos to see how people can really play this rhythm instrument. List of fun. Even gifted one to my drummer friend. Highly recommended!!!

Such a great musical gift. I bought some for my whole family as stocking stuffers and we had a hoot watching the you tube tutorials and playing. They are actually really easy to pick up and we've gotten much better with practice. My nine year old can't wait to show them off to their class. They are beautifully made. These are very well made and easy to get started with using the instructional videos! I keep them handy and practice while watching TV as well as in my recording studio. Starting to become second nature after only a couple od weeks.

I have the large and medium spoons and they both fit perfectly in the bag. Makes it so easy to transport and keep them looking nice! I actually take them with me much more than I used to now that I have an easy way to carry them which has made me a better player since I spend more time with them!

As I fondly remember learning to play the spoons when I was a teenager, I bought spoons for myself, just before a family holiday where the age range was 78 to 3-months. I took the spoons along and everyone had a go. My 7-year-old grandson obviously had some natural talent with the spoons. We watched some on-line videos and he was inspired, so we are buying smaller spoons that better fit his hands. Meanwhile, I’ll work to play the spoons better so my grandson and I can play together.

The spoons are beautifully built and the tone is rich. I really like the website lesson on how to play them. I have both the small and medium sized spoons. Both sizes deliver great tones and a nice feel in your hands. Considering the craftsmanship, they are a bargain. Bought one of each size for Christmas. Had my 12 yo help wrap, she trialed each, and she’s not stopped beaming with excitement, even though they aren’t for her (she’ll share). The large ones easiest to play through the fingers, but all are amazing to play even with ZERO skill and musical training. The aesthetic and small business elements make me feel a special warmth in a world of plastic from Amazon. Shipping was quick, package came easy to wrap and pretty. They should cost more.
