I‘m improving on the spoons. It’s important as I live in the live music center of Ireland. Me missus isn’t happy with the volume. She wants me to practice on a pair of soup spoons.

I've only had my spoons for a couple of weeks and as yet have not got into playing them apart from following the first video. I will say though the are beautiful to look at the finish is perfect and the do sound pretty good. Hopefully I'll practice and become a Maestro! This was such a fun Holiday gift not only for my son who is a musician but for everyone and anyone wanting to play (for us that was 20-35 year olds and the over 60 crowd). Beautifully crafted and simple to use. Added bonus: doesn't take up a lot of space, so great for apartment dwellers who want to create music but don't have room for bongos or larger instruments. I ordered one of each size. I thought the smaller ones would be good for beginners but I like the larger ones better it’s much easier to have space between hands. There are different pitches in them too As a percussion instrument they are great.
