I have been playing spoons since the early 1970's. These spoons sound great and are easy to play. Great for beginners too. I would highly recommend these spoons to beginners and professionals.

I bought the small size for my 7 year old grandson. He's always on the move. The size was good for his small hands as well as my large hands. The craftmanship was very good and they look really nice. I had him watch the video for beginners and within a few minutes he was doing a pretty good job with the different techniques. I purchased these spoons as a gift for a one year old who spends most of his days banging wooden spatulas on things. Such fun instruments! I was amazed at their sound and had to share with the family! Hi, I bought them for my daughter’s birthday last weekend however I think they might be too big for her as she’s only 10 yrs old ( my mistake) but she loves them. Every week I play in a bluegrass band at our local farmers market. I purchased the spoons to add a percussive element to our jam sessions. They work perfectly! Practice does make perfect, however, I found that the learning curve was not very steep. Ordered two. One for myself and one for a gift. One was much more responsive than the other, as the spacing between the two sides of the spoons was much greater on one than the other. Sent the company a message about it and was immediately sent a replacement. Great product, great service, not so great at playing yet, but getting better! Highly recommend.
