I’ve been trying to get back into percussive instruments. It’s been a slow process, but I’m getting there. I’ve never heard of anything like the Heritage spoons before. I’m used to playing steel ones. The craftsmanship is top notch. They have so many types of tones you can produce which makes them more of a serious instrument to me than just spoons. Overall, I’m very happy I bought these. Good job Heriage!

These are really nice spoons. I've had others that are not capable of the same degree of modulation of sounds. They fit nicely in the hand and they can be manipulated nicely to produce interesting variations. They are nicely made. Three thumbs up, and good on Canada!

Aesthetically, it is a work of art. It has smooth edges, sanded corners, and is ergonomic. The sound is a treat to my ears! I found myself playing it against my chest, under my arms, as well as on my thigh. It is a lot of fun to play and can make different sounds that I didn't know spoons could make. Now I just have to find some old-timey musicians to jam with.

I ordered two sets of Mediums for gifts, and a set of Large for myself. Although I am able to play the large model, I could play on the mediums a little better. Perhaps this is because of my hand size and not the fault of the spoons. I will manage though. They look beautiful and are certainly a conversation starter. The two medium sized musical spoons were gifts. The recipients LOVED them, and almost INSTANTLY were playing rhythms. One of the recipients has a large office with display shelving to show off lots of really cool and neat items to his clients. His spoons will have a place on the shelves when he is not playing them to relax. They are really nicely made and are a conversation starter for sure.

This was a gift to my granddaughter Giorgia. The Martini family all play music together. This is a beautiful instrument. The wood is smooth, beautifully stained and put together. The sound is wonderful. I bought the large size which seemed like the right choice. I might do well with the next smaller size but that will be a purchase for another day.
