My wife and I really enjoyed the session with its emphasis on vegetarian dishes. Chef was fantastic and really helpful in letting us know where we could purchase ingredients. We enjoyed our co-cooking participants and the delicious meal at the end. I look forward to more classes.

I have always used grapeseed oil to season and post-season my pans and had never thought of using something else until I recently got to try Cook Culture seasoning wax. Love love love! Wish I tried it much sooner. I'll always use this seasoning wax and never go back to using grapeseed oil again :)

Absolutely love this pan! It is thick and heavy enough that it retains heat really well, and the perfect size to cook pretty much anything in from pancakes to full dinner. I seasoned it twice after removing the beeswax from the factory and I can already make an over easy-egg in it with zero problems. Definitely on the heavier end but worth it for the function that the extra weight gives. I wanted to get a pan for life and I definitely chose the right one!

Purchased the 4,6 and 10 inch Field pans. These are very high quality! I seasoned twice in the oven and the pans are quite non stick. I cooked scrambled eggs on the 6" pan as the first cook and the pan was almost totally non-stick! No egg stuck to the pan. Highly recommend!

The service and shipping was amazing. Our daughter gave us a gift certificate years ago. You know how when guests are coming over and you put everything in a pile in a closet etc…we are moving and during the sort, I found the certificate!! It was like getting a gift all over again lol! We love the Kitsune 7” Santoka. We both use it over our other knives. It feels great in the hand and is beautiful.

Going into the store they have lots of great things for the kitchen and if they don't have something you are looking for they go out of there way to find it and bring it into the store for your convenience. Very friendly and always very helpful to your needs.

I really like this cleaning tool. At first I only used the large chain mail scrubby but for some cleaning tasks it is too rough. But it really excels when you want to just clean a little off and pan and don’t want to be too aggressive. I will have to try it on things other than my pans.

I purchased two sets of the cups, one for myself and one for my daughter who was here from Arizona. Her set is on the home as of today and my set I have used twice so far and they are comfortable to hold and use. Keep up the god work

Bought this pair to be able to make small quantities of items such as salsa, tapenade, salad dressing, dips etc. I needed just a little icing sugar to sift on a dessert so rather than buying a bag I blended some regular castor sugar into a lovely powdered version in seconds! See pic! Love these little guys!

The Demeyere Atlantis 7 20 cm 18/10 Stainless Steel Steamer is the perfect addition to my set of Demeyere pots. It is the perfect depth to steam organic vegetables however I mostly use it for steaming frozen tamales. It can be used on two different size pots which makes it versatile. I absolutely love it!

I admit I had not previously done a very good job at seasoning my cast iron pans. I realize now that I was not doing things correctly. I saw this kit advertised at Cook Culture and purchased it. The staff were very helpful in explaining how to use it; and the videos make it very easy to understand. I love the product. My pans have never been cleaner nor looked better. They are stick free. Thanks Cook Culture!

This Santouko knife complements my paring knife and chef's knife very well. It is well-balanced, sharp and makes chopping veggies 'easy'. The price point for this Kitsune knife is very reasonable, which allowed e to make a decision quickly. Although I do hone my knives regularly and 'sharpen' them with my ceramic wand, knowing that I can return them to Cook Culture to be professionally sharpened, is a real bonus.

I spent a little time seasoning it and what can I say, it is working beautifully. If I may say one thing, it is that I give it 15 minutes to warm up on our electric stove. This gets it really warm enough (slowly) and I temperature watch it with my Thermaworks infrared gun. It really is a great way to go.

I've been volunteering at some of the cooking classes at Cook Culture over the last few months. The mandolin I purchased was used in one of the classes, and it was excellent. I've been wanting one for a long time. Excited to use it!⭐️

This was my first ever cooking class at Cook Culture. OMG - it was AWESOME! I loved EVERYTHING about it: Mara's professionalism, her insane knowledge of all things cooking, her travel 'best bets', her humor, and her being such a lovely, kind and genuine human! My classmates were so fabulous; we all worked together like a finely oiled machine - especially my class-partner Brian, who was a dream partner to cook with! Hope we get paired up at another class! It was just the best experience! I ...

I am very pleased with my Field #8 pan. It's just the right size for most tasks and the relatively short handle is a good match for the 4.3 lbs weight. I boldly tried the fried egg test after first seasoning and they stuck. But searing and cooking boneless pork chops was a dream.

One of the best butcher block boards I have used. I love this size so much. The quality is so beautiful and if you take care of it, it just keeps aging so well. Will be a key piece in our kitchen for years and years to come.

Really enjoyed the recipes and the emphasis on vegetarian dishes. We had a really good group but using the stove at the same time was a bit of a challenge given the number of people. All in all a really positive experience.

These cups were great! I was able to get them engraved and they made for a perfect custom gift. The customer service I received to figure out which mugs would be best was fantastic and overall I will be going back to Cook Culture!

My third Mineral B pan! I love it! Great for everything from eggs to searing foods. Heats quickly and has excellent heat retention. I use the Cook Culture seasoning wax to maintain it and keep it nonstick.

This gadget really works with no fuss, idiot proof! I was hesitant because of the price but it has breathed new life into some beat up old knives and I plan to do my Mum’s collection next! I do like that the stone disks are available individually as well, yes would recommend!

My name is Jason Rithaler Silvia's grandson, a 13 year old amateur chef. I have been the recipient of three Miyabi 6000MCT knives, all from Cook Culture. The first knife I got was a small paring knife. When I first went shopping to get it, I was absolutely blown away by the selection and pristine condition of the knives. I wanted to start off with a big chef's knife, but I was told it was better to buy a small but elegant paring knife, and that was a great decision. I couldn’t keep myself from...

Recently and suddenly during a spinning session, the pumping arm of our 20-year-old Zyliss salad spinner broke off. The thin plastic edge of the arm was way too thin for applying glue as repair. Jumping online to research the current test favourite brought up the OXO Salad Spinner, featuring a completely different pumping mechanism. Being long-time OXO fans, we tracked down the large size that we wanted at Cook Culture in Vancouver, picked it up, and have been happily spin-drying lettuce leav...

At first, I was reluctant of buying the carbon steel pan. I have one from many years ago. After watching your video, learning how to use it and doing more research I decided it is the time. One need to make changes to make once life healthier. I went with the professional version as I prefer to have the best quality especially if it is something that will last for ever :-) (at least my life time). Thank you for having the best quality cooking products. I LOVE your shop and shopping with you onl...

Thank you for recommending it. It is great to use when you are using a blender. Before ,my fingers and arms and hands were always getting messy. It enables you to get into those really difficult and hard to reach places. Thank you once again for making my life in the kitchen a lot easier and cleaner.

This is my second Global knife - a few years ago I purchased the bread knife, and recently purchased the vegetable knife. Incredible quality and weighted really well so it’s super comfortable to use. I will slowly be replacing my kitchen knives with the Global brand - quality knives and competitively priced!

We've got a Jura machine in our downtown Victoria corporate office. It has been tricky for us to source the official Jura-branded cleaning supplies. You can imagine the surprise we had upon finding the Jura products we need at Cook Culture, which is just around the corner from our location! Thanks Cook Culture - you'll see us on our Jura-supply shopping trips!

Love this spoon. When I brought it home my husband absolutely thought it would become surplus to requirements, but after a couple uses, he was quick to remark how it's the perfect size for our espresso machine. Would recommend.
