I will admit, this pan is a bit tricky to develop a good seasoning on. I scrubbed with boiling water, used dish soap, even used rubbing alcohol, and then washed again with hot water. But sadly even after six layers of stove-top seasoning (Medium heat on a gas burner, 18 minutes of heating time after applying a light layer of the Cook Culture seasoning paste), I still sadly scratched off some of the seasoning in the middle of the pad during the first use making come caramelised onions.
