This is a nice, short stainless steel knife that is useful for any lite cutting tasks. The handle is made of nylon and is easy to grasp. It comes with a sturdy fabric buttoned sheath with a belt loop. When it arrived it wasn't particularly sharp but a few licks on a steel took care of that problem. The knife seems to hold an edge well. I'm going to confine it to the kitchen as I prefer short knives.

Got the "blemished version." It seemed to just be a little tag of plastic on the handle which I removed. After which, there seemed to be no difference. It's excellent quality and almost exactly what I was looking for. It's bigger than it appears.

I've been a fan ever since I got my first Skallywag dagger from a battlebox. After getting an upgraded sheath for it at Bladeshow and picking up an Aluminum version ; I just had to get a D2 version. I support this company and even the "blems" are superior craftsmanship. Glad to edc this anyday. I carry the aluminum when I kayak and use the steel one everywhere else. I support Skallywag tactical products !

Everything came as described. The blades are amazing razor sharp out of the box. All the blades I ordered except the mini were all blemished. There is no marks on the wahoo or the mako that I can see and a tiny paint scratch on the aluminum dagger. Everything is amazing. I will be ordering more in the future. Thanks skallywag tactical for great products.

A friend of mine used to give me grief, because when he would show me his new knife, I would immediately find something wrong with it regardless of the price he paid for it. This is a blemished blade. And as you can see there is nothing I can find wrong. I will be buying again from this company.

This is the best deal on a self defense knife that has the option of purchasing a trainer I could find. Compare to Amtac blades that run $450. The rhino sheathe is an truly innovative design that doesn't print in the pocket and with some practice, is easy to draw from. I would trust this knife in a self defense situation.

There was a little mix on the blade but Captain and the crew at Skallywag took care of it and got the order fixed. I have a lot of Skallywag blade and I love the all. I am surprised how light the blade feels in your hand and I love the way you did the scales on the handle. You have become my blade company of choice. It a Pirates life for me. Absolutely love this. My wife feels very comfortable wearing this, no guess work about getting it open. It is extremely sharp and strong. Great to fit on a vest with molle, which is why I bought it. Awesome dagger and sheath!

Training is a MUST! Skallywag! Again, this is a well made trainer with 1 to 1 size that gives best in handling and feel to a real blade. its a must have item with MDV plus 1 knifes.

The aluminum dagger is light fits in the sheath tight no rattling perfect to take with you while running doesn't pull down my basketball shorts and aluminum doesn't rust. Also fits in my hand perfectly.

Phenomenal blade. One of the best I've felt in the hands. Bought the Damascus for the cool factor but it's utility remains the same. Lots of people carry a defense blade, many haven't been trained on the one they're actually carrying. They tend to have the poke and pray mentality I guess. A great concept and knife. This is perfect being so light to carry at the gym in lightweight sweats. I slide a section of gutted gray 550 cord over the hook and it disappears. And being purple I can claim it is an official Planet Fitness issue. I use another one with velcro mounted to the handle to mount on my sun visor (the side towards the roof) with no need for a sheath. It is exactly as described. Light weight, easy to carry. I bought this originally to keep on me when running and it stays very well on the gym shorts. I actually find that I carry this as a companion to my edc pistol. Looking forward to buying more for family members and friends.

I love the mini-Jack! It's small, sharp and comfortable to wear clipped to your jeans pocket. I liked it so much, I bought three more! I use it at work and everyone who sees it wants one. Several co-workers have purchased one for themselves. It has an assisted spring so opening it is a breeze. Get one or four while you can!

I normally don’t carry folders. I prefer a blade to be fixed. I ordered the Wahoo on an impulse when the MDV sheath was back in stock. This is the best folding knife I have ever used, or seen friends use. The craftsmanship is top notch and the blade is sharp. It one hand opens and closes. The lock mechanism is substantial and gives me confidence to use the blade as I would a fixed blade. It’s not my grandfathers old timer, it’s better. Pick one up to add to your EDC!

I am old guy from the fifties. An razors were common threat to face. Now they carry box cutters. I would take a razor over them any day. Your old school razor is just the right tool to add to your EDC kit. Once it is broke in . It opens fast. It also makes a good box opener. I am not brave enough to try shaving with it. Absolutely phenomenal knife! It's got great weight and feels and fits comfortably in your hand, you can tell this is a very sturdy and good full tang knife with the added bonus of changing out the end piece! Not to mention skallywag has the absolute best customer service out there, super fast and down to earth! Definitely going to be making more purchases from here!

I bought both knives at separate times… which goes to show that after the first one… I was pleased enough to buy a second one(which was the OD)…Love them both! Carry them as my edc on my small goto bag… will be buying again… maybe the bigger, serrated version…

The Damascus pattern is subtle but beautiful. The grinds are clean, straight as can be, and symmetrical. The D2 is well balanced, comfortable in the hand, and I have no doubt that it will get the job done. Another fine, quality product from Skallywag Tactical

I received this awesome knife about two weeks ago. I've carried it every working day since then. To be honest, I've forgotten about it on my body until the end of day when changing out of uniform. It came sharp and pointy, light weight and just awesome in general. As you can see, I cord wrapped the handle with 550 with a half knot weave. It adds just enough grip and width to the handle and is pleasant in the hand. A+ product!

I bought one for my daughter and a second for myself. I am training my daughter in some basic self defense, and this tool is quite effective with proper technique. I did try to purchase the practice/training version of this knife, but it has been showing unavailable.

This is how I choose to carry and what works best for me. The sheath locks the knife in snug, so I don’t have to worry about it slipping out. The holes in the sheath are convenient for many different carry scenarios. The knife is solid, sharp, and functional for self defense use. This knife has been exactly what I have been looking for in a concealed self defense knife! Perfect size, perfect fit in hand (and I have big mitts), and superb quality! Absolutely love it! Definitely recommend having both sheaths. When it's in the rhino sheath in my belt loop it vanishes behind my belt, and I can't feel it at all. With the standard sheath it's perfect when I'm just wearing gym shorts and clips comfortably on! Do yourself a favor and just buy it
