I ordered a "blemished" MDV folder. Damned if I can find any blemish. I'de say that they f-ed up and sent me a new one. Beautiful and quality piece. I couldn't be more pleased.

I really like the thought process that went into the design of the MDV+1 I am going to wrap the handle in sting ray skin. SO I have a real good grip. I am a huge fan of this blade. It’s easy to carry, you’ll never know it’s on your belt, or pocket. The size is perfect for carrying concealed, or defensive work in close or on the ground. Absolutely the best.

I really like this blade and the concepts for use. Fortunately, I retired in '04, so I think the dagger and I both will stay sheathed for the present. The MDV Folder in Titanium is a wicked little Folder! The knife is beautiful and to me, reminds me of a figting version of a chris reeve folder! Just has fast if not a little faster than when deploying one of my OTF's! The customer service I received was really impressive! Craig took care of me when I had an issue with my order. Will be ordering more Skallywag stabbys in the very near future!

This caught my eye due to the unique design. It’s very well made and really well designed as a deep concealment, last ditch weapon. My GF has hijacked mine for her daily jogs since it’s easy for her to carry in workout clothes. My only complaint isn’t a flaw on the part of skallywag, but rather that my hands are a little big to use it comfortably. I wear a 2XL glove and it’s still usable for me, but a little on the small side.

Excellent sheath for right or left hand draw. Adding the 550 as seen in your YouTube video insures you don’t lose it when you need the MDV plus One in a hurry. The Monkey Tape wrap keeps it where you need it in your hand when you use the MDV Plus One. Excellent product!

This is a nice, short stainless steel knife that is useful for any lite cutting tasks. The handle is made of nylon and is easy to grasp. It comes with a sturdy fabric buttoned sheath with a belt loop. When it arrived it wasn't particularly sharp but a few licks on a steel took care of that problem. The knife seems to hold an edge well. I'm going to confine it to the kitchen as I prefer short knives.

I love my new guardian dagger. Like always, I can’t find the blemish. The upgraded sheath is great as well. I believe I’ll use it as a truck knife or a carry knife in the right situation. I’m getting use to Skallywag exceptional quality control.

I have several knives from Skallywag, but I've wanted a boarding axe for a while now. I follow on Instagram and get the emails so when the blemish sale came up I knew it was my moment. I struck fast and got my axe. I love the size and weight of it. It's chiseled good looks with the solid grip is great. This was a good buy for me.

The MDV knife is well made and very comfortable to hold. The monkey tape adds a great addition to the handle. Once the sheath and knife are placed in position behind your belt it’s very secure. Have not had any issues while hiking or walking around. A great addition to your EDC.

Skallywag Tactical is my absolute favorite and Go To for blades. A friend of mine sent me a link one night telling me to check them out. Seeing their logo had me hooked already and HAD to buy a knife. I've gotten several now and want more. I've been carrying a Skallywag knife every day now for work and EDC. You can feel the quality and passion they put into their products. God and Blackbeard as my witness; I'd swear by these blades. Get some!

I took the bait on the Mako & an Orca, sold as 'hard use' knives. I am terribly hard on knives, a tool I use daily. I keep a polished razor edge on those that maintain one. My clunky old Buck 110 for example,retired when the pocket clipped jobbers came out. (I never liked belt sheaths,and hate a boat anchor in my back pocket.) The more I handle it, the more comfortable it becomes. The way that you can use it as dual purpose weapon. With two fingers in with my right hand ( I’m a southpaw). I can still grab my pistol. Everything came as described. The blades are amazing razor sharp out of the box. All the blades I ordered except the mini were all blemished. There is no marks on the wahoo or the mako that I can see and a tiny paint scratch on the aluminum dagger. Everything is amazing. I will be ordering more in the future. Got the "blemished version." It seemed to just be a little tag of plastic on the handle which I removed. After which, there seemed to be no difference. It's excellent quality and almost exactly what I was looking for. It's bigger than it appears.

I've been a fan ever since I got my first Skallywag dagger from a battlebox. After getting an upgraded sheath for it at Bladeshow and picking up an Aluminum version ; I just had to get a D2 version. I support this company and even the "blems" are superior craftsmanship. Glad to edc this anyday. I carry the aluminum when I kayak and use the steel one everywhere else.
