I love my new guardian dagger. Like always, I can’t find the blemish. The upgraded sheath is great as well. I believe I’ll use it as a truck knife or a carry knife in the right situation. I’m getting use to Skallywag exceptional quality control.

I have several knives from Skallywag, but I've wanted a boarding axe for a while now. I follow on Instagram and get the emails so when the blemish sale came up I knew it was my moment. I struck fast and got my axe. I love the size and weight of it. It's chiseled good looks with the solid grip is great. This was a good buy for me.

The MDV knife is well made and very comfortable to hold. The monkey tape adds a great addition to the handle. Once the sheath and knife are placed in position behind your belt it’s very secure. Have not had any issues while hiking or walking around. A great addition to your EDC.

Skallywag Tactical is my absolute favorite and Go To for blades. A friend of mine sent me a link one night telling me to check them out. Seeing their logo had me hooked already and HAD to buy a knife. I've gotten several now and want more. I've been carrying a Skallywag knife every day now for work and EDC. You can feel the quality and passion they put into their products. God and Blackbeard as my witness; I'd swear by these blades. Get some!

I have enjoyed Skallywag Tactical blades for a little while. When I saw there was a blemish sale, I had to check it out. I have been interested in the Duclaw for a while, and had to have it. Once it got here I was impressed with how stout it is, and so far I cannot find the darn blemish.

I took the bait on the Mako & an Orca, sold as 'hard use' knives. I am terribly hard on knives, a tool I use daily. I keep a polished razor edge on those that maintain one. The more I handle it, the more comfortable it becomes. The way that you can use it as dual purpose weapon. With two fingers in with my right hand ( I’m a southpaw). I can still grab my pistol. This is the best deal on a self defense knife that has the option of purchasing a trainer I could find. Compare to Amtac blades that run $450. The rhino sheathe is an truly innovative design that doesn't print in the pocket and with some practice, is easy to draw from. I would trust this knife in a self defense situation.

Got the "blemished version." It seemed to just be a little tag of plastic on the handle which I removed. After which, there seemed to be no difference. It's excellent quality and almost exactly what I was looking for. It's bigger than it appears.

I've been a fan ever since I got my first Skallywag dagger from a battlebox. After getting an upgraded sheath for it at Bladeshow and picking up an Aluminum version ; I just had to get a D2 version. I support this company and even the "blems" are superior craftsmanship. Glad to edc this anyday. I carry the aluminum when I kayak and use the steel one everywhere else. I normally don’t carry folders. I prefer a blade to be fixed. I ordered the Wahoo on an impulse when the MDV sheath was back in stock. This is the best folding knife I have ever used, or seen friends use. The craftsmanship is top notch and the blade is sharp. It one hand opens and closes. The lock mechanism is substantial and gives me confidence to use the blade as I would a fixed blade. It’s not my grandfathers old timer, it’s better. Pick one up to add to your EDC!

I am old guy from the fifties. An razors were common threat to face. Now they carry box cutters. I would take a razor over them any day. Your old school razor is just the right tool to add to your EDC kit. Once it is broke in . It opens fast. It also makes a good box opener. I am not brave enough to try shaving with it. The perfect EDC fixed blade. The MDV Plus One has a strong, lightweight steel, the sheath is basically perfect, and it's so smooth to draw using the curved "C" for the handle with even your pinky finger.
