I used monkey tape on both MDVs and like MIKE D says its a must for a more secure grip plus it makes the knives even look better and more tactical. As you can see in my photo I sharpened the red trainer on my WORKSHOP GUIDED STONE SHARPENER and it came up really nice and sharp. I could have made it better but as long as there is a sharp point on it thats all you need for what these knives are meant for. But overall great package with top tier materials and thought of mind in this.

Got the Aluminum Dagger for my wife and I, we both love them. Lightweight and easy to carry at all times. Sheath is top notch, fits on any clothing or bag and stays put when you draw. I like the large loop because it make the dagger very easy to grab without even looking. This is how I wear it on my long runs. Aluminum is a plus because it doesn’t rust from sweat. 🔪

Have been looking for an easily concealable, fixed blade EDC. Love the fact that this knife fits right in and is unnoticeable in my khakis’ front pocket. (Business casual everyday for work.) Also, it’s easy to customize to get a perfect grip. Plus, the trainer is a nice little bonus.

This is my favorite shirt that I own, and this is the 3rd time I've bought it. The first two shirts were for me, and the last one was a gift for my brother. (He loves it) This shirt is SO comfortable! Made of really soft fabric that doesn't really shrink or fade hardly at all. When I mess up this shirt I will definetly be buying another, please don't stop selling this shirt!

First off; Skallywag Tactical is phenomenal. I have ordered several of their blades so far and am saving up to get more. I just got the Jolly Roger because the price is too good. It's now my new new work/beater knife. It is very tough and we'll designed. I would have expected to pay at least twice as much as I did. Absolutely love Skallywag and their products. Fan for life.

This is a totally awesome functional piece of art. As long as the blade is, there is no wiggle. The stickers that came with it look great on the sheath. Just wish they had it in satin instead of black so it would be seen better. So that when I pull it out (if the idiot was smart) they would run.

This is a nice, short stainless steel knife that is useful for any lite cutting tasks. The handle is made of nylon and is easy to grasp. It comes with a sturdy fabric buttoned sheath with a belt loop. When it arrived it wasn't particularly sharp but a few licks on a steel took care of that problem. The knife seems to hold an edge well. I'm going to confine it to the kitchen as I prefer short knives.

I really like the thought process that went into the design of the MDV+1 I am going to wrap the handle in sting ray skin. SO I have a real good grip. The MDV Folder in Titanium is a wicked little Folder! The knife is beautiful and to me, reminds me of a figting version of a chris reeve folder! Just has fast if not a little faster than when deploying one of my OTF's! The customer service I received was really impressive! Craig took care of me when I had an issue with my order. Will be ordering more Skallywag stabbys in the very near future!

Everything came as described. The blades are amazing razor sharp out of the box. All the blades I ordered except the mini were all blemished. There is no marks on the wahoo or the mako that I can see and a tiny paint scratch on the aluminum dagger. Everything is amazing. I will be ordering more in the future. This caught my eye due to the unique design. It’s very well made and really well designed as a deep concealment, last ditch weapon. My GF has hijacked mine for her daily jogs since it’s easy for her to carry in workout clothes. My only complaint isn’t a flaw on the part of skallywag, but rather that my hands are a little big to use it comfortably. I wear a 2XL glove and it’s still usable for me, but a little on the small side.

Excellent sheath for right or left hand draw. Adding the 550 as seen in your YouTube video insures you don’t lose it when you need the MDV plus One in a hurry. The Monkey Tape wrap keeps it where you need it in your hand when you use the MDV Plus One. Excellent product!
