Awesome blade is an understatement! This knife is as smooth as butter when you open it! Take the fact that it is also a beautiful knife, and it makes a great EDC blade. So i decided to share a picture of my finger, that was mistakenly cut by the fixed blade as i was putting it in the sheath. Just goes to show how sharp it is, and how you’ll get hurt if you’re not careful. I love the product. Rips through what i need to cut with no hesitation.

His and hers. Extremely light and sharp! Love this. I Conceal carry, my wife doesn’t. She wanted a light weight blade, and this she said is perfect. Holster is very tight on pants. Couldn’t of asked for a better setup to be honest.

I bought this item largely on a whim. I was curious as to how the light weight aluminum would feel in the hand and work with this design. I was pleasantly surprised to discover how easily it can be used and how the lighter weight allows for a different level of control.

I love this knife, mdv plus 1. It was blemished because of a slight discoloration spot on the back of the blade the size of the letter o. I used a dab of my permanent black construction marker and now it's impossible to find. I tried many tape setups and found GT500 grip tape around the middle, as shown works for me. This knife is awesome and part of my edc setup. It's small enough to fit unnoticed in any pocket and the blade size is legal, if you're into that. Sharpens quickly and holds an edge. I can't find the blemish and I tried. I will be getting a few more. Thanks

I have ordered a few of the less-expensive knives from SkallyWag and have been very impressed with the quality. It was time to up my game and go for a nice fixed-blade knife so I ordered this Blackwater and now all of my co-workers are envious! I made sure they know where to find them! The MdV+1 aluminum blade is light fast and deadly. I wrapped the blade in leather cord . Then soaked it to tighten it up/secure it. wrapped some monkey tape on it I put some 5col. ranger bands on the sheath. SO the band just touches the handle. The MDV carries well. It doesn't matter if you hook it behind your belt, put in in the pocket using the rhino sheath or if one decides to use the other sheath and attach it to the belt. I will be purchasing the trainer soon. For a fixed blade fighting knife it's become a favorite of my along with my Shivworks Clinchpick.

I purchased a fixed and folder as well. Both blades were very sharp. I have purchased several fixed blades. Love then! The only complaint I have is with the folders. To me the clips are the weak point. I lost one the job because the clip failed. It isn't the only folder I lost. I wish the clips were more robust. Other then that excellent knives.

I have trained in hand to hand combat for many years. So much can be done with this simple yet very well engineered design. I ordered tactical knife for a hike i am planning. It is always better to be safe than sorry. The handle gives a good grip and small enough to fit in the palm of your hand securely. Just get them!!! Such a bargain, how many thing can you say that about any more? The WAHOO and MAKO axis lock action has a better feel and is smoother than my Benchmade. Both are way sharper than my spyderco ever was, right from the start. I love these knives. I carry them daily now. Awesome purchase.

I bought 2 each (1 is none, 2 is 1) From top to bottom. Mini Orca Mako All shipped very quickly, razor sharp and nicely oiled. The mini, although I am not a fan of neck knives this little knife is on my motorcycle currently and can be deployed quickly in a pinch. The Orca is my work/ utility knife and is holding up nicely! The Mako is now my EDC and an absolute fantastic knife! All of these knives are great out of the box and reasonably priced, I am looking forward to my next purchase...
