Comfortable while concealed, easy to deploy…what’s not to love. I use the aluminum dagger with sweat pants or scrubs. The metal version is a bit heavier but makes a perfect addition to my EDC weapons. I absolutely would trust my life with this knife!

I had purchased this blemish version because the price was right. I figured if there was anything wrong with it I would fix it myself (ie sharpening or any minor fixes). I got it and couldn’t find anything wrong with it. So if the blemished versions are this great I wonder how great the non blemished versions are!!!

This is a fine fighting knife. The D2 is a great choice and the edge is super keen. The knife is light and comfortable behind the belt or in a pocket. I wrapped the handle per Mike Donvito's video instruction and fell in love with the balance and feel instantly. I used 7/16" rubber gromets and thin monkey tape in an "x' wrap like he did. Feels excellent. The trainer is also a must. Great EDC.

It’s ok grip tape. Very similar to hockey tape. Wears out just the same. It’s over priced in my opinion. I think I’ll just stick with the regular hockey tape.

I bought two rhino sheaths, one for the live blade and one for the trainer. One of them is a little bit smaller and the way it opens is a little different due to manufacturing, but they both still work perfectly! I have an MVD , actually two, one for my young son of 54 LOL IM 74 . We stay ready. The D2 Dagger is fantastic. The point is a needle, my thumb can attest to that, a simple touch while re sheathing brought forth the red stuff, ouch. I don't usually post reviews, but was tempted into this by the offer of a 10% off coupon. All opinions are my own are are honest, though. Overall, I'd give the whole thing four and a half stars if that were an option (only whole star increments available here, though), as I'd prefer to carry the live blade at least without any branding.
If you're looking for a self defense/close combat oriented EDC knife, the MDV currently has my strongest recommendation. The grip/handle is designed with that ...

This is an amazing blade that can be used for an EDC blade or specifically a defensive blade. Its the perfect size to be concealed or open carried. It sits in your hand very well and with the spline being as wide as it is will be perfect for a camp blade too!
