I really appreciate the quality and craftsmanship of the numerous blades I've purchased from Skallywag. Always impressed, and items always as advertised! My most recent purchase of the Boarding Axe stays true to the experience. Awesome tool/weapon! Beautiful design and tooling, and to say robust is an understatement! Already intend to purchase a second one, so I'll have one for whatever needs to be done, and a second to hang in admiration.

I know what it does before I purchased it. The sheath has no clip in there to stay on the blade. But it’s a sheath I may give it a run later. Great work

Solid and sharp- I love this blade! I didn't like the belt/pocket clip at first but I tweaked it a bit, and now it's perfect. I love the heft and solid locking on this folder.

Absolutely a beast. I’ve had other axes from other companies and this one dwarves them in size, quality and functionality. It goes great on kit or out in the yard tearing down trees. If you need it done, this will do it.

Keeps it simple. Sheath won’t pop off in my pocket. Great peace of mind as a back up. My wife and daughters love it. Weirdly enough they saw it and demanded one per keychain. I bought too many to count.

I'm more of a Tanto blade fan but this style is starting to grow on me. This thing is super sharp! The blade finish and handle look really good. Knife is bigger than I thought it would be but it was a nice surprise as I prefer bigger knives. Makes a nice addition to my collection.

Shipping was lightning fast, my blade arrived in just 2 days. The knife itself is gorgeous, I have yet to find the blemish on it that qualified it as a blem item. Came extremely sharp, very comfortable handle. 10/10, I will be buying another Skallywag blade soon!

Sheath is a bit too tight for the blade plus if you pull downwards towards the edge it scrapes the inside due to the blades shape

Buy it while it lasts. You won’t regret it. Greater retention and options to carry. With this sheath, I’ve been able to carry as a neck knife attached to a dog tag chain.

The Mako is an awesome knife. It is just the right size for EDC in my opinion. Out of the box it is as sharp as you would ever want it to be. I haven't had to resharpen it since receiving it. Hopefully it will be easily resharpened. I received a "blew" but I can't find a thing wrong with it. This probably goes to the excellent QC Skallywag has. Their QC can see an issue, but I can't. I like the knife a lot and will be buying addition SkallyWag products in the future.

This is a knife! (Australian accent) This bad boy is a monster. Big yet hardly noticeable when in my pocket. Razor sharp! Like I shave my head with it when I am bored sitting around. Not just a monster big… but built like Godzilla. Thick and strong. I trade it back and forth with my karambit. Awesome quality knives.

Heading out to Yellowstone this summer with the family, to do some backcountry hiking. I bought this for my son, so that he will have a solid survival tool. Not my first Skallywag Tactical blade, and I have always been more than satisfied with their quality. This blade is a sharp looker too, with a quality leather sheath.

The marketing for the Shaver sold me. Why not have a shaving razor as a backup hidden boot knife? I have since sharpened it further and actually use it to shave (swapping with my previous online mall special). The pearlescence blue handle was just too pretty to expose to boot funk.

Hello Wags! I have purchased several of these knives and have presented them as gifts to police and military personnel. They are getting used and continue to perform exceedingly well. The feedback that I hear is that the weight of this knife and comfortable grip make these knives stand out. I would add that they hold an excellent edge as well. I have bought both blemished and unblemished blades. Then"blemished" are sometimes undetectable and are just as great and beautiful as the unblemished. I have given the blemished boards as gifts.

This a pretty well designed knife. The grip is comfortable, has good grip, very ergonomic. The blade is the right size and shape and came moderately sharp. I plan to put a better edge on it. I hope it does well with holding an edge. The sheath is pretty good. I think it will serve well. All in all a decent all around use knife.

The Double Trouble dagger is beautiful! It was a "blemished" item, but I could find nothing wrong with the knife. The snap was sewn on backwards onto the sheath's strap, but the knife itself clicks securely into the scabbard part of the sheath, so the retaining strap itself isn't necessary. I'm very pleased with the dagger and the price!
