I do love the pen, it writes well and is nice and substantial feeling. I do wish that its diameter was just a bit smaller and its length was about an inch shorter in length, so it would fit in my Tale of Knives holster for EDC. That being said there will be one in each vehicle. If you are thinking about this pen stop and just order two or three, you won’t be sorry. Maybe SWT will come out with a smaller EDC/carry version in the future.

Love the size and heft of this piece! I would definitely recommend it. In some of my other reviews I have comments on the lack of sharpness of the blades, this one was actually razor sharp, very pleasantly surprised.

A very nice folder. Sharp. Blem is almost non-existent. It looks like a large knife but is much lighter that it look. The only improvement I could suggest is the the belt/pocket clip would be for a lefty or a righty

Reading reviews, I was pretty confident they would still be nice. But was really surprised when I got them. I got 4, one for myself and 3 as gifts. I only found one with a blemish, so I kept it for myself. It still wasn’t very noticeable. I would recommend them, especially at the price point.

I half to say right out of the box I was impressed. The packaging alone was nice I was just expecting it to be shoved in a box in its shieth but the both had a cutout spot in foam. Great knife, love it it’s very handy and convenient in the aspect of weight and conceal carry. I personally am new to a fixed blade like this as I am use to foldables but this is great and the sheath is definitely secure as it feels safe in my waist band and well as the handle mechanism for this knife that I feel it’s secure in my hand

This is an absolute necessity for those who chose this knife. As I watch TV I can work this with both hands and much safer than the live blade. I have been looking for the best blade for me for years and this is it. Open right hand, left hand, right pocket or left. One hand or two, left or right.. it all works. I love this Boarding Axe. It’s phenomenally well built and heavier than expected. My only issue with this is the sheath that comes with it. I’d love to see an upgrade made available. My collection of the Skallywag line of blades is almost complete now.

Added to my EDC, and it fits in well. Love how lightweight it is. It writes well so far. Both are major advantages over my last tactical pen. Only complaint is, the cap has fallen off in my pocket once, and another time the whole thing screwed loose and when I grabbed it only half came out of my pocket.

I bought a blemished aluminum dagger, it was great! I can’t tell how it’s blemished cuz it looks perfect! The blade is so light I barely know I’m carrying it. I would strongly recommend this knife as a secondary weapon especially in a maritime environment. I carry it when I go walking and I don’t have to worry about my sweat causing the knife to rust. Excellent knife!

Got some shirts as a Christmas gift for my husband and he loved them! Shirts in general for him are hard to find that work with his build. For reference, my husband is about 6’3 with a long torso. These shirts have a great loose fit and hit below his waste band a few inches so when he raises his arms you don’t see his belly. So thankful for the referral from @americanbear!!

Much bigger than other knives by this company. Best worn during winter for better concealment. Other than that, well made, balanced. Means business. Would be difficult to pass for utility knife, but who cares. Not exactly too ergonomic, but will do the job just fine. I carry those everywhere. Don’t feel defenseless anymore.

A well thought out knife thanks to the designer I noticed it's not over built a lot of makers like to over build daggers but this dagger is built for its design and purpose will it cut yes like a straight razor will it Pierce yes with a very little effort this is a real Combat dagger I wished I would have had when I was serving will be buying my second one soon thanks

Haven't had a chance to cut with it but it looks like a cutter. Feels ok in the hand but drawing from 4 o'clock is a lil rough due to the pommel. Feels solid but the edge needs stropping. Love the chisel edge tho. Lastly, I assumed it was bigger. Def a EDC knife but might not be survival/combat size. That being said I think I could be a good fighter.

I bought myself the mdv plus 1 blem because it was a great buy and a self defense blade system I'd been looking at for over a year. I can't find a "blemish" on the two pens I bought. Great for everyday carry with a glass breaker tip. Pull the top off and it clicks in place so it won't get lost. Standard Parker style refills for convenience and availability. Another one out the park Craig! Thank you! KC
