As many folks here, I debated about this one for some time. I figured "Zombie Apocalypse" tool. Reading the comments on how well it performed finally sold me. I've got a long history of blade training, and have always wanted one this size. I did not realize how much I would enjoy doing drills and cuts with it. Excellent grip design, I have huge hands. Love the hand and half grip, and all the options of use it allows. Truly a superb blade I am so happy with! P.S. practicing with it is a great arm...

This is wonderful. Exactly as its real life live edge partner. Can be used to train in such a way that you will have exact muscle memory for using the live edge. This could even be used instead of the live edge, if you were wanting it for only locks, and pressure points. But even this, the trainer, it quality built.

Incredible! This knife will remind you of the child in you in an imaginary realm fighting the evil with a mystical dagger. This knife is not only tactically awesome, it’s gorgeous. Now of course, I’m partial to the FDE colors. But just wow.

This is the second “blemished” blade I’ve purchased and I can’t tell where it’s blemished. I have the fixed blade MDV Plus One and bought the titanium folding version only because it was such a good deal. Again, I can’t tel where it’s blemished and, like all of Skallywag’s products, this one is solid and razor sharp.

At one point I thought about having this knife professionally sharpened. But I was apprehensive. Then I email Skallywag. They agreed it would be extremely hard to do. Even as a professional. But the big “deal” with this knife is that is specifically made for an icepick grip. That it’s for puncturing. Not slashing. I have the guardian and had not given any thought to this dagger The Damascus was enough to give me a push and give it a shot My first thought was this is so much smaller than the guardian And that is what makes this a perfect EDC It is so easily concealed and to be honest almost too good lookin to carry It has immediately become part of my EDC I will have to buy a D2 and aluminum versions as well

I have seen these. UltiClip’s. I just bought a couple for the first time. I didn’t realize just how they worked. Or why they are so well received by consumers. These are absolutely awesome. I’ll be buying more. But they’re no just a “clip”. They have a kind of lever that keeps the actual clip “locked” closed.

It is a single purpose tool and it excellent at that purpose. You can see that a lot of thought went in to the tool and the sheath. The little prong on the back of the clip makes this the best in this business.

I love this knife it is perfect as a gift for loved ones who are scared of knifes or cutting themselves, a real confidence builder, for someone looking to carry a self defense weapon with very low risk of hiring them selves when utilized. It also “looks scary” according to every one who has seen it, giving the user a psychological advantage against threats.

If this is a Blem, I can’t tell. I have been through several sets of kitchen knives and they were only “okay.” This set is heirloom quality. My wife went to cut sweet potatoes and it was like a knife through soft butter. I love the heft and solid feel of steel in hand. One of my best purchases and soon to be, all time most-used Skallywag knife/knives.

The best edc knife I can imagine. Pair it with the Rhino sheath for the ultimate combo. Holds an edge well and easy to sharpen, I'd love a special run of these in a super steel. It's light enough to forget about while wearing it all day. Very versatile in use and quick deploying. This is my second MDV, more of a backup in case something ever happens to the first.

Straight up, I love all of my Scallywag's! Right to Left - Gunnersmate, my newest purchase - Great pickup truck knife. Next over - Spin Drift V2 - EDC Next - Hunter - Just what the name implies, Excellent for removing the Backstrap from your deer. The rest over to the left are used as EDC as well. The Bad Fish is Badass for carving anything. and last but not least, my Badass Slicer. keep up the Great Work Skallywag! Looking to see what I get next.

I wanted a fixed blade to carry on my body armor and I have always loved Karambits, so it was a no brainer to get one from the best knife company there is. I carry it on my weak side and it's attached right to my body armor. It's lightweight, and the blade itself is very comfortable in my hand. Amazing blade for all duties rather its gutting and skinning animals, cutting bait and filleting fish, or just for basic utilities! Knife is scary sharp. A little small but you’ll get use to it with proper technique and practice. Be aware when performing thrusts, and stabs. With its size and lack of guard, it’s easy for your finger to slip and get cut. It’s sharp enough that I sliced my trigger finger all the way to the bone of the proximal joint. It’s still an easy knife to carry concealed and it goes with me every where.

Came out of the box very sharp! For the price, this is an excellent edc knife. The axis style lock makes it easy to operate with one hand and the included deep carry pocket clip makes this a perfect knife to keep in your pocket everyday.
