Great Knife, strong frame, smooth action and very well sharpened. Perfect EDC blade, simple, tough and practical, blade shape is a nice departure from the norm, quite unique looking but very functional. Highly recommended.

Not much to say other than sales and customer service were flawless. Craig in sales helped me with a maintenance issue, made me see that I had a lack of maintenance they took care of it for and the knife is on the way back to me

Just a trainer and an extra sheath to use when practicing deploying the trainer. It works as advertised and with the trainer I can practice by striking a hard surface without worrying about damaging the real knife.

It's a really well made knife unlike other knives that I've seen that easily break or go dull after a few cuts. The knife is nice and sharp and cuts through things very easily. I really love the knife and I'll recommend it to those who want a high quality knife.

I ordered the blemished MDV plus one since the normal MDV has been out of stock for a while... and let me tell you that I'm very impressed. I barely noticed the small scuff on the blade, one that you can only see in certain lighting. The discount for the blemished blade is well worth it. I love this innovative blade design and sheath. The options are endless on how you may use this tool. Watching skallywags helpful instructional videos have been a huge help in trying to learn the skills and info...

Although this was purchased as a blemished MDV Folder in titanium, very little blemish was evident save for a small knick on the handle. QA standards are plainly high at Skallywag Tactical if this is a blemished blade. The opening, locking, and belt clip functions work great. Just unpacked it and I'm already impressed and loving it. Great job, Skallywag!

I recently picked up the Skallywag Mini Jack knife and I've got to say, I'm pretty impressed. The blade is super sharp and durable, and I can tell that it's made from high-quality materials. It's become my go-to for everyday tasks. The handle feels really comfortable, and the quick-opening mechanism is a big plus, especially when I'm in a rush. That being said, I do have one suggestion for improvement. The pocket clip is currently tip-down, and I'd personally prefer it to be tip-up for easier a...

The price of these blem knives is unbelievable. I looked for a long time before I gave up looking for the blemish. This is the easiest opening assisted flipper I own.

This beautiful like chppper came sharp and ready to go. I wrapped the handle (it didn’t need it, I was just experimenting with it) I use it time to time and decided to bring it out when cooking steak.

I was incredibly skeptical at the idea of paying a premium for what’s essentially hockey tape cut to a 1/16” width, but once you actually see it in front of you, it’s hard to conceptualize. Being so narrow, it’s incredibly useful for a tight and high-tact grip on a knife. I am very impressed with this product, simply because it’s simple and very cleanly cut/manufactured. Highly recommend if you’re using a Black Triangle G10

My first “custom” axe purchase. I love it. Shaving sharp out of the box, liked it so much I immediately ordered a second one. May never use it on anything but it is so cool.

Amazing knife. Razor sharp out the box, handle has just enough grip for my liking. Has since become my EDC knife! Might have to buy another to keep as a work knife and one as my EDC. It’s a pirates life for me!

I love my new Mantis! Remarkable product! Sharp, durable, visually appealing and overall functional. Though I'm still a little hurt they sold out before I could get all the other colors.

Fits securely in my side pocket of running shorts or pants. Very lightweight, it doesn't bounce of pull my shorts down when running. I plan to purchase one for each of my daughters, sisters, & niece.

I carry one or the other for my EDC. I like the aluminum blade when I’m wearing gym short. Don’t even know it’s there because it’s so light. When I’m wearing a belt I go with the Damascus since it’s a little heavier. I prefer the rhino sheath It will catch a pocket or belt loop when drawing it. Great blades. I have 5 of them and two of the daggers. Also great in its own way. But that would be another review

Love the retention, the belt clip is the star for me. So many blade manufacturers make great blades but crappy sheaths and or very crappy belt clips. This holds the blade well and you can draw it without worrying about the sheath coming with, and or moving. Will definitely be getting the steel version.

Love this aluminum dagger. I carry it as an edc defensive blade and the aluminum makes a huge difference wearing it on the belt line! Great shape and amazing sheath design makes this a great edc blade. Bought it at a huge discount with the blend sale and hardly even notice any blemishes!

Hey all! I really like the engineering behind this knife! I’m thankful the blemished blade was a option since the flawless category was sold out. This knife looks great! I can see a scuff mark to the right of the Scally wag emblem. It’s just a topical scuff mark. Nothing to feel skuffy about. I really had to look to see what was wrong with it. I even checked the spelling of Scally wag.😂👍🤘🤓 It says “blemished” but I feel like it’s just a incredible “DISCOUNT”. Thanks for the AWESOME stic...

Marine Approved !!! It arrived quickly and razor sharp. The blade shape allows for whittling and slicing equally well. But it can also handle heavy cutting around the yard. I'll have to have a couple for Christmas gifts. OUTSTANDING !!!

Great look and feels very hefty. Not sure the limit of pry-ability it has, just by feel it appears as it can handle just about anything you think of throwing at it. Working at a shipyard this tool will definitely be a daily carry.

I own a LOT of knives. The MDV One+ is my favorite, which is why it's my EDC. The knife is extremely well designed, brilliantly made and has the best sheath I've ever owned for any knife.

Lost faith in folding knives. Micheal's design is great for an EDC stabber with some additional features. Really like the rhino sheath. Truly revolutionary. I can't appendix carry anything. Don't know how you guys sit down. Tucking the rhino sheath in a belt loop for horizontal carry, I forget it's there. Nice design for a non-dominant hand. I added some 3M traction tape for better grip. Wish Mike had gone with the "KITE knife" for a name.....

I'm up to 9 Skallywag blades at this point. I have 3 Transformers, including this one I did a little rattle can work on. I worked with Melody at https://www.primaloptions.com/ on the custom multicam kydex sheath. She's a small business owner totally off grid in the mountains of Colorado. She's been a pleasure to work with on designing this sheath.

I have the guardian and had not given any thought to this dagger The Damascus was enough to give me a push and give it a shot My first thought was this is so much smaller than the guardian And that is what makes this a perfect EDC It is so easily concealed and to be honest almost too good lookin to carry It has immediately become part of my EDC I will have to buy a D2 and aluminum versions as well

The quality of this blade is unmatched, it really show cases the American made quality. The sheath is very comfortable to wear for everyday carry. It is a great blade as a tool and self defense. I would definitely reccomend this to any one who wants to conceal carry.

Really appreciate the opportunity to get an extra sheath for the MDV trainer. The way that The Rhino will catch on the horn to unsheath the knife is a masterpiece of sheath design. A great little sheath all around. I can’t recommend it enough.

Great, well-balanced ECQB weapon. I recommend holding it like the Shivworks push dagger for a more natural feel. Seems to be good steel that had a great edge and point to it. The handle is fantastic! It's so difficult to find a handle that fits bigger hands without a disproportionate blade size. The Duggan fits like a sharp metal glove. The sheath is poo. Like, mall ninja quality. So I made my own. OD kydex and black rivets. But I wanted it mounted on a plate carrier, so I added adhesive hoo...

The rhino sheath is definitely a must-have you can get away with using the flat sheet that comes with the MDV plus one however, it was designed specifically to be used with the rhino sheath… if you purchase the training from Michael Donvito on elite you you will know the reason for the rhino sheet. Please keep in mind that this MDV plus one was designed for a specific purpose “people opening” so training is a must spend a little more pick up their rhino sheath, trainer MDV and online classes you...

Excellent product it is a must have if you owned the MDV plus one! also you should really consider purchasing the MDV plus one training classes on Eliteyou with Michael Donvito it really helped me understand the madness and mindset behind this blade! Side note for Skallywag owners you need to restock the live blade in d2 and Damascus I got friends who want this blade but it’s out of stock.

I have wanted this particular knife for a while and finally was able to get a hold of one! Great knife, incredible design. Love this knife and all the knives I've purchased from these guys. The sheath on this knife is as much a work of art and tactical design as the knife itself. Don't have one? Get one immediately!

A surprisingly fine knife for the price. Great weight, very comfortable grip and one of the sharpest right out of the box knives that I have ever purchased. I am very pleased with this knife and will definitely recommend it to my friends.

I love this knife it is perfect as a gift for loved ones who are scared of knifes or cutting themselves, a real confidence builder, for someone looking to carry a self defense weapon with very low risk of hiring them selves when utilized. It also “looks scary” according to every one who has seen it, giving the user a psychological advantage against threats.

I really like this belt clip from Skallywag. It is low profile and compact like no other belt clip I current own. This clip allows belt loop carry without obstruction and makes the option of left pant pocket easily available as well. The clip holds tight. I will probably grab a few more for other applications in the future.

Let me tell you about my Kraken. I ordered the first Kraken t shirt maybe a month and a half ago. It was so soft and comfortable, I wore it non stop for about 3 or 4 days and dropped him in the washer. I also went to Michigan on short notice to visit my Mom around the same time. I returned home and Kraken was M I A. He either snuck out the washer or hid out at Mom's waiting for me to leave, but I have not seen him since. I order 2 more Krakens from the fine folks at Skallywag, because 2 is 1...
