Better than I imagined. I waist carry sideways and have not had a sheath that clips onto my pants securely like this one does. Stays in place when you draw, does not move when you deploy, and holds the knife well enough you do not have to worry about having it fall out. In one word, trustworthy.

It's a very solid and well made blade for the price-point. I am very happy with it overall.
If I could, I'd wish for only two things:
1. A sturdy Kydex sheath being available.
2. The inner area that comes in contact with the inside of the fingers being a bit rounder for better comfort.
Otherwise I love this blade!...it will become a part of my EDC in the very near future.

I really like the horizontal carry. Conceals well. I’d also like to see them put out a cutlass style sword for sale. I mean, come on. With a name like skallywag, and two cutlasses used for the cross bones of the Jolly Roger, you have to sell a classic cutlass.

Great last resort defensive knife. Ultralight makes it easy to carry. I like the feel of it but can see how it would take a little getting used to for people with smaller hands. Bought three of these in different colors as a gift to myself and a couple of others.

Great knife like all of the knifes I have from Skallywag! I purchased two of these.This is nice and light. I put one on my go bag backpack arm strap hanging downward. On the other one I turned the belt clip so I can wear it horizonal on my belt for easy access while i'm out in the woods.

I have several pocket knives from this company. This one has a nice look for use on public and comes very sharp. One thing I didn’t notice before buying is that the cover is clear acrylic with a brown pattern printed on the inside. One side of the acrylic wiggles around a bit. I’d be nice if it was firmly attached. The blades are centered and have a nice snap when opening them. There is no half stop. Overall, I’m happy with it and have gotten compliments on it.

I like the Skallywag dagger at least there as much as my Benchmade dagger. I love the color, especially. If I were to make any change, though it would be to go to the same ring profile as the pro model or possibly cut back to a single ring. This expanded ring feels a little sloppy around my fingers, I wear an extra large glove size for comparison purposes.
