Very nice blade, only minor strop work and it will KILL…. lol no serious it will shave. I did wrap the handle, it was a little awkward now it’s great. Nice sheath hold well. All in all another hit!!!!

I love my Plus one. It is with me 24/7. The leather is there for several reasons. First one, I would deploy my plus one from the sitting position. Can deploy it either way, right or left handed. And the leather strap on my sheath is, when I deploy my Plus one. Only my plus one comes out, not my sheath. And to protect my silver.

I really like the quality of this knife. It is very well built and very sharp right out of the box. Statistically speaking, I may never have to use my MDV Plus One, but I get to cut stuff with this Privateer every day and that is pretty cool!

I use this push dagger on my plate carrier. It's small enough to not take up valuable real estate, but the handle fits "man size hands" and the blade (sharp as crap!) is long enough to get where I need it to go. Can't go wrong with it. Just wish it came with a kydex sheath...I'll have to make my own.

I bought two Jolly Roger Folders. One for me and one for my father-in-law. I have not tried mine out yet, but my father-in-law has already. He took it out on his daily hike and ran it through the gambit. He really liked how it fit in his hand, it is a big knife that fits in a man's hand. It's sharp, well made and will be accompanying him on his daily walks as a EDC! Great job, Skallywag!

You have to get the trainers. It’s essential to improving your drawing and overall handling of the knife without getting a bunch of bandaids on your fingers and hands using a live blade before you practice. I have both the MDV Plus One and MDV folder trainers and use them while I’m watching Michael Donvito’s videos and practicing on my own BOB dummy.

A well made, super sharp, wicked and fun little knife that has taken its place in my GTFO bag. The fit and finish are top notch. Scales are flush with tang, and I'm a fan of the neon pop of color. This could easily be a true everyday use knife, for far less than those $400 knives everyone peddles, but I feel I actually got more than what I paid for. Go Army, beat Navy, airborne!!!

Fantastic blade. I really like the durability of D2 steel. However, a stainless option would be great. After all, this is a blade that is carried close to the body. Overtime, carrying and use will make the coating slowly wear away, and sweat will cause corrosion. I speak from experience. Could Skallywag maybe offer the MDV in quality stainless steel? Or shoot, maybe an affordable stainless like 440c to make the product accessible for more people? Thank you!
