I usually carry a large folder, so I’m used to the weight and bulk. With that said, the Jolly Roger has pretty thick handles, making it a little bulky as EDC. BUT, it is extremely light for its size and has a great feel while using it. It deploys very nicely and locks up really solid.
In my opinion, every belt clip knife should have the option to move the clip to suit the individual.
Overall, I do like the JR and will definitely recommend Skallywag to anyone that might be looking for a qua...

I love it! Awesome quality and very discreet! Blends in easily with other objects on my keychain. The only suggestion I have is maybe the sheath could be shaved down, more rounded, or adjusted slightly somehow to allow a more solid first grip from the draw.

Got my MDV “Blem” today and I already love it. The steel feels as if it has a slight texture that to me at least is not as slippery in my hand. This may replace my much beloved Emerson Mini cqc-15 as my edc “social” blade as back up to my daily carry handgun. I’ll have to get used to it and get one of the Rhino sheaths when they become available again. But so far I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. It’s a lot heftier than I expected and that’s a good thing as it is very solid.

Bought this for that same truck I mentioned in my key chain dagger review. This one of course is a multi purpose tool. If I need to write a note, it has that covered. If I need to bust out a window in an emergency, it can do that. Can also function as a self defense tool if needed. It does all three in one discrete package. It sits quietly in waiting in my center console and no one other than me and you know the difference.

Exactly what I have come to expect from Skallywag. Blade is lightweight, EXTREMELY sharp and the locking mechanism is smooth and tight as a drum head. The smaller pocket clip is a very nice addition. Blade sits deeper in your pocket so it is less visible. Yet comes out as fast as you need it to. Another home run!

Tiny but mighty lil slicer/pocker. Just had to add a paracord lanyard for extra grip. Only downside if you don't add a lanyard you'll never get a good grip. Other than that it does its job well adding a mini clip to pocket carry.

Looks good and fills the hand much better than other (more expensive) knives from other (more expensive) manufacturers. I'd buy it again and recommend it to anyone looking for a good EDC. One thing I wasn't aware of until it arrived however, is that it has a spring-assited flipper, a nice little surprise.

This is a great companion to the Rhino sheath that comes with the MVD-1. This allows horizontal carry on any belt with secure retention. I recommend this as a daily carry option.
