I was very impressed with the knife I received. However as I had ordered on a 2 for 1 special and only received one knife I was disappointed . I tried to call the company , leaving a message that was never answered. I also emailed the company as a reply to the email I received saying I was being shipped 2 knives. The email as of this time remains unanswered. I love the products, however the customer service is disappointing.

I already owned a very similar concealable fixed blade just like the MDV plus One (hand forged in Texas called "the Hornet") But like a folder depending on what i'm wearing. i was using an "auto" folder made by one of famous companies, but found that it still takes me 0.5 second to open it's "Auto AXIS" upon withdrawal. Excellent piece, I just wish the rhino sheath had a hook on either side, would make the draw more reliable from down grip and it would look like an anchor. It’s the unofficial knife of my training group, everyone is getting mine after I showed it off.

I love this knife ! Super sharp right out of the box ,hefty in the hand adding to the chopping power of this beast ! I have 5&1/2 acres in the country and use it every time I mow the lawn to get rid of the long pricker bushes and other branches that would hit me in the face . I’ve made knifes since the 80s , now that I’am older I like to collect them , I have MDV+1 ,the MDV-F V2 folder , Professional Guardian and this Razorback which are my favorites ! Good on you !

I have been a hobby knife maker for almost 30 years now. While I'm not an expert...I do know knives pretty damn well. And I frikkin LOVE my Skallywag knives! Beautiful knife, almost too nice to ever use. Feels really good in the hand. It’s a hefty boy and the design lends itself to multiple grips. I’m honestly bummed that it’s not socially acceptable for me to wear this knife everywhere.

I really like this blade, If I had to look to improve it I would ask for the blade to be in a 2 sided bevel. This would make it easier to sharpen. Great blade, I carry it as a daily.

AMAZING bbq set. The leather case it came with was better than I imagined and I was already blown away by that. Now, the tools. The knife was super sharp and felt like great quality. A great set that performs as well or better as any of those much more expensive designer knife sets. This doesn't come as any surprise as I had previous experience with a couple of Skallywag EDC knives that are simply superb. You can't go wrong with any of the products in the entire product line.

An altogether excellent knife! I have seen it compared to the knife used in Crocodile Dundee, a copy of which I also have, but the Gunnersmate is much better balanced. It also appears to be practically indestructible, being made of 1/4 inch D2 steel. I think that it will the perfect companion for a walk in the woods, not too heavy to wear on your belt, but stout enough to handle any use that a knife might be put to.
