As you can see I am definitely a repeat customer. I love their product. Carried a D2 on my kit when I was a federal agent. Now it is my EDC fixed blade. Cant wait for a new design to add to my collection.

Compared to the blades my brother has, I cannot find the blemish. Came packaged as if it were a full price set and I will be looking to get a set for my girlfriend so she can carry as an option to her EDC. Very comfortable to handle and carry in various ways and the ergonomics are intuitive.

Hands down the best fighting folder I’ve come across. From the big things to the little things, this knife checks the boxes and then some. The thought process that went into the design is second to none.

I am a stockroom manager. I use the Hunter as a utility Knife. It works great for me! The shorter blade doesn’t look that intimating which is a good thing in a regular working environment . The long handle helps keeping my index finger away from my cutting objects to prevent my finger get scratched… NICE!

This knife is sharp! It fits the hand well and is a good weight. It is easy to open and close with one hand and is very sturdy. No picture really does it justice.

This conceals so well I sometimes forget I am wearing it. The trainer is great for learning to manipulate the tool with one hand. I’m not a martial artist, but it is still great to be able to practice safely.

You can’t say enough about this blade, so simply in design and how you can truly make it your own by adding a little tape here and there sets it far apart from the rest. My opinion anything other than this blade you’re just shooting for second best at this price point. All I done was wipe it down with alcohol before I taped it and after I heated it up with a hair dryer then wrapped a temporary cord around it to really set the tape. I can’t stop flipping this one around so I know the traine...

Nice blade to have on you. I wear mine when walking the dog just case. Easy to wear around your neck, no need to be wearing a belt. Nice and light weight.

I purchased 2 Wahoos and one other small blade. Received them and loved the Wahoo so much, I ordered 4 more to gift at Christmas. The knife is wonderful! The fit, function, feel, are that of a much more expensive blade. I never liked the axis lock on the benchmade, but on the Wahoo it functions flawlessly! Great job gentlemen! My new EDC is the Wahoo! Great name on all accounts too. The fish and the exclamation!

Fits nicely in the hand, even though it’s tiny and easy to conceal. Super light to wear as a last resort necklace. And the price was right along with fast shipping

Adding the monkey tape to the MDV Plus One's gives you that little extra control needed during use and deployment. It stays in place in the hand reasonably well when using as support. I may wrap an additional node in the center for a little extra control.

The Scallywag Razor is an awsome knife. This is a great chopper or slicer as the balance of the blade is centered in the with finger grove and blade length and design.

The tape is a must! It allows you to make the knife really part of your hand! If you have ever done any grappling training you know how important good athletic tape is and the fact that this is already cut into a small strip makes it so easy to apply exactly how you want. Holds up great! I carry every day and train with it 3-4 times a week and only have to change it out once a week after Extreme use and wear and tear. Highly recommend! 10 out of 10!

I've been looking for a concealable fixed blade for a while. Never found anything that I thought was great. Then I found the MDV. This thing is great. I've been carrying it no for a few days. I'm using behind the belt carry hooked on a belt loop. Super comfortable and concealable. Easy draw with either hand. I have the handle taped a little heavy so I'll probably redo that. But honestly, I was surprised by how well it can be handled even with no tape. Great knife.

DISSAPOINTED!!!!!!!!! ....that I didn't buy 2 Gunnersmate Reground Blem. I think I got the one with a tip issue instead. However the " "tip issue" was so slight that you hardly notice it. It's still pokey. Processed a chuck roast with this bad boy. Was looking at an ESEE 6 but this fella was calling my name. About to get another...

This knife is just awesome for the money. Oh the knife came razor sharp and the action is super smooth and fidgety. Looks very well constructed. I will definitely be buying more knives in the future from this company.

There’s not much to say that hasn’t already been said multiple times about this exceptional instrument/tool, any edged weapon lover usually has a few or more of his most favorite and cherished blades but he always has a main squeeze…his go to, and after carrying the Dynamis Alliance Razorback and the socp dagger for the last two years compared to carrying this beauty for a few days, I can say I found my main squeeze for sure, absolute nothing wrong with the other blades at all, they are tough, e...

THE BEST KNIVES ON THE MARKET!!!! I am an avid blade guy, have probably 125”quality “ knives from Tops, to Kabar, and everything in between. Skallywag has taken all their blades to the next level of quality and functional uses. I now have 4 and will add more in the future. Please keep up the great work!!!

This is my third purchase from Skallywag Tactical. I have never been disappointed with this company, they always manage to make it a better experience every time. The product are fantastic, high quality, very functional, self defense tools. I will be back for a MDV , and a Dewclaw before all is said and done. And truth be told probably a boarding axe and more daggers for gifts!!! Keep up good products at good price!!! And all made in USA from my native North Carolina !!! Can’t be beat

I’ve had the d2 dagger in the past and ever since coming across Skallywag Tactical, I’ve been intrigued and there’s no knife like the ones they produce. Such a beautiful blade I knew I wanted to get the mdv eventually and finally I had the opportunity to! Thank you Skallywag!!!

I had superb luck via eBay, this guy was selling this Skallywag Tactical Serrated Guardian [The True $650 Military version!!] for $250 and I bought it for $175! As for the Dagger, it’s sharper than a razor and the point’s supporting design runs within .25” of it’s tip… I’ve had this for approximately 3-Months & it’s perfection in form and function. I’m happy about this buy, yet I would’ve bought it for it’s full price knowing what I do about it! This is a weapon I’ll NEVER part with.🇺🇸

Lightweight, Very easy to conceal, sits snug in the provided sheath. I wear suspenders rather than a belt, and you can't tell it's there, and I've forgotten about it throughout the day. Delivered quickly to my house, and received updates from the company every step of the way. As a man with a growing knife collection, I'll certainly be both buying from here again, and recommending them to all of my friends. Keep doing what you guys do.

This was my first purchase from Skallywag. I have many knives in my collection, but I immediately since it arrived I have been carrying it every day, regardless of wardrobe. I love the materials, fit and finish. The knife performs damn well in everything I’ve ask of it so far, with the exception of cutting cardboard, that’s just not right to do with a quality knife. I will be on the lookout for more of skallywag’s blades. Great EDC blade.

I’ve carried a lot of knives over the years, but the privateer is by far the best pocket knife I’ve ever owned. If your on the fence, hop off. You won’t regret it.

This is a sturdy tool with a substantial pry end. The teeth look perfect for cutting rope. The orange color seems ideal for an emergency tool.

I have purchased a total of 9 of these little gems. The first one was too cool to keep so I gave it to a dear friend. The next 8 were purchased from the blemished sale at a price to good to be real. Again I have given away all but 2 of these cool little nasties. When seated in the car it is exceedingly difficult to draw my Wahoo out of my pocket. My EDC Mini Fixed is ready and available to deploy and open anything and everything I need to while driving or sitting at a desk. The 1,7/8" blade is v...

I first found your site on Instagram and the two blades I purchased after visiting your site were the Mini Jack and 2 Wahoos. The mini Jack was for my daughter who is in a chair due to spinal cord injury. I wanted her to have a blade that she could gouge out the eyes of an attacker if needed. She chose the Mini Jack folder over a Spartan Tactical folder. She knows a good knife when she sees it. As for the Wahoos, they are my favorites. I have purchased 8 of them so far and blessed many a friend...

I have two of these aluminum MDV’s. I love the blade and the concept behind them. I’m looking forward to summertime carry with them and will be back to purchase more as my children love them too for their light weight and pure defensive role.

I love the MDV! I have the Damascus, two aluminum live blades and a trainer all set up for different roles. I never feel under armed with this blade due to the training and the engineering/feel. This will last a lifetime, and it looks good! I couldn’t find the blemish either

Been using the MDV trainer to work blade skills for a few weeks and I love it. Only complaint is that it’s sharp in comparison to my other training blades due to its thin design. I added some tape and paid close attention to my training partners feedback to remedy this. I’m 99.9% happy with the trainer and have it set up like I would the live blades on my person. This is a first draw blade for me in my training group.

Great little self defense object here that actually contains a very smooth writing ball point cartridge inside. Just over a quarter inch longer than your standard clicker pens this thing can be used in a snap to put some distance between you and an attacker. They'll let go after realizing they've been poked with what they think is a pen and it will also do a gnarly, painful wrist lock. Having a glass breaker these days is always a plus as the potholes in these roads are getting ridiculous and on...

Badass knife! Real light weight and looks badass. Feels good in hand with its rock like design for the handle. Very simple but well thought out when it comes to the handle an thumb placement. This is a great gift for anyone even if they don’t think about carrying a knife, this one is light, easy to carry, and is very discreet with its size.

Already done a review. The only Blemish I could detect was some of the etching appeared to be sort of faded, not as prominent as the rest of the blade. But you couldn’t see it unless you were looking for it. Glad I got it and wouldn’t be afraid to buy a Blemished blade again.

My wife got me an Orca for my birthday last year and it went into my edc rotation immediately. I love it. It’s a great knife, sharp as a razor and feather light. You can’t beat the price, either. My wife loves it so much I got her one to keep with her so she’ll quit borrowing mine.

Purchased “Blemished” Aculeus at incredible price. Can’t find any irregularity on it. Very sturdy knife with thick blade for harsh use. Changed included metal clip to nylon (my preference). Grip shape works well for saber, or reverse, grip. This is now the “Last magazine” on my plate carrier for high-risk environments. Placed knife next to standard GI AR magazine for size comparison. Great knife!

The Mini jack knife is excellent!! was more then I expected for sure. very easy to open with one hand and close. feels comfortable in hand. well balanced and sharp. The Mini jack fits nicely in the pocket, slim design so you can still have excess to your pocket. Belt clip work as it should easy to clip in the pocket also easy removal. Thank you for a great knife...
