This a BEAST of a sheath. If you ever wanted the ultimate boot knife, the sheath and clip combo does that. The D2 daggers, or aluminum daggers with this combo incredibly amazing. The original sheath is with out a doubt is perfect, But this sheath combo is perfect, transcended. Definitely worth buying, if not for all your skallywagg daggers, at least one. Super appreciative

I am totally impressed with my Sailor blemish blade it's comfortable in my front pocket without pinching and as a matter of fact I just ordered 5 more to give my brother, son and son-in-law. I'll be ordering something different next time simply because the are all.amazing.

This thing is a beast. Hard to think of a “practical” use for it, but that has never stopped me from falling in love. It’s a work of art, a solid, well built tool that is way cooler than the pictures do it justice. Any man that has ever held a sword and felt that urge to charge screaming at a line of pike men will understand why they need to buy one of these. It awakens my inner Viking. Just buy one and thank me later!

I train and teach Krav Maga and this knife lines up with the combatives that I practice. Using it and training with it is simple and the training is worthwhile. The trainer is light and easy to maneuver, the live blade is hefty enough to build the confidence needed to use this knife. I love the knife so much I am recommending it to my friends. This is probably one of the most eye catching blades in my collection. Feels very good in the hand and easy to control but be careful it may just be the sharpest knife in my kitchen, pork,beef,do not stand in it's way. Honestly bought this knife for my wife. I thought it would be a good knife for her to carry because if its smaller size. But she fell in love with my sailor assist instead. This is a great little knife. It came super sharp and it's size makes it real handy. It makes a good skinning knife for small game animals. Very happy with the mini jack.

This a great little knife with some smart engineering poured into it. The blem was wonky grind but 5 minutes on a stone cleaned it up fine. Only bit that I don't like is the silly little finger notch on the blade but that's likely more to do with having a hand that would be at home on a orangutan. I intend to file it open to make it efficacious for me. Good Job Skallywag

I purchased a blemished blade, but I still haven't found a single imperfection on this knife. The bounty is balanced almost perfectly at the very base of the blade. Awesome knife/sword. I love this blade.

I haven't found anything wrong with it. This is my second one. My first wasn't off the blem but I accidentally broke the tip off and didn't want to be without when I sent that one off to be fixed. Great customer service. Awesome blades!!

Love at first sight <3 I first saw this beauty on the YouTube channel "hard2hurt" and I knew I had to have one! This is truly a quality defensive tool that is comfortable for daily carry. It is a really good knife especially for the price! The textured grip feels good in my hand! The knife is super sharp out of the box. Very impressive. It also looks mean. I will say I am curious as why the clasp is where it is on the knife. With previous carry knives I would always spin the knife between my thumb and forefinger into my hand to then deploy the blade. I like the MDV for it's hook design that makes the knife easy to get a hold of and also the way it secures the knife to my hand... I added to the sheath a Pebble leather belt loop cut from a Russian ammo pouch and sewed on a button to match my other pocket knife and wallet... Love this little blade it stays around my neck 24/7. Picture taken next to a lighter for size reference. I love how small it is. Love the lightweight knife, I keep in my right pocket next to my skallywag pen, as a backup for my microtech socom, which are backups for my edc. Amazing fit and finish, sheath holds securely. Fits nicely in my pocket tip down with just the curved handle extruding for an easy grab if necessary (hopefully never need to use it). I just recently found out about skallywag, and I plan to do alot more shopping from them! Highly recommended!

Great service great guys over at Skallywag.( British vet here) The Damascus is quality steel and nicely made. I love the easy access to the blade due to the design of the ( Discrete ) handle and can be presented so easily at high speed without looking . I love this blade and carry it with me at all times

I bought this MDv folder drone together with the live folder. I love funky color. It's quality is superb. You can use it for training and force multiplier as an impact weapon. If you are getting the live blade, get the drone aa well. It allows you to train safely.

I bought MDv folder (live and drone) when I saw the video of GM Bram Frank doing a review. I really like the design, shape of the blade, functionality and quality. The pen quickly became a critical item. I use this pen at my job at the fire department. The pen itself is used to take notes and write reports while the glass breaker is in quick access to be employed during extrication operations. I bought one from the blemishe sale and I have yet to find anything wrong with it. The captain and crew clearly hold the highest level of quality assurance.

The boarding axe like all my skallywag blades is a 10/10! This was my first "blem" blade that I bought however I cannot find a single thing wrong with it! The QC for skallywag is second to none. As for the axe, it is a BEAST! Got some heft to it but still easy to handle with one hand. This thing is a winner!

Coolest Christmas swag ever, mateys! A dear Cap’n got this wench a Transformer and I absolutely love it! This is a very nice wicked little sticker : sturdy and well-made, great balance and weight, fits my hand perfectly, nice sharp edge. He’s gotten me several things from Scallywag and the same great quality and service. Nothing not to love. Most excellent Christmas booty, for sure. Me timbers were completely shivered! :-)

I've been carrying this dagger for a couple of weeks now and can honestly say it's one of the most comfortable blades I've carried. I typically wear 5.11 khakis and put this in the left pocket and half the time forget it's even there. I have no problem sitting crouching down or bending in any direction with this in that position.
