This is a quality styling tool. I actually thought it was going to be a blowout/dryer styling tool. It is not. It is a curling iron brush styling tool. It is to be used on clean, dry hair. I was hoping for the blow dryer styler, but oh well.

It’s a good product, hair has to be blow dried prior. The blowout for curly girls especially if humidity is prominent where you live, your hair will start to curl up. If you’re looking for an alternative to straightening this isn’t the right product. But if you need it to make it look like you had curlers in your hair and you learn to use it properly, it’s worth it. I’d give this a 8.5/10.

I love the Blowout Boost! At maximum temperature for my coarse hair, one brush through is all that's needed to smooth out waves and frizzy curls. I'm very happy with it. I can even make my own soft curls! The only drawback is that the controls are on the handle and my fingertips occasionally hit a button, either changing the temperature or turning it off. Not too big a deal but that's why I gave it 4 stars.

And I do wish the temperature was lockable because I've accidentally increased the temp to higher than I want. But overall I'm very impressed with it and the results I get.

I have really curly hair, and overall, the result was great—it smoothed and styled my curls nicely. But I did notice something unusual: a lot of my hair was coming out while using the steamer, which doesn’t usually happen when I blow dry. Also, when I apply any products and use the comb, it tends to collect residue that’s hard to clean off!!
