I bought size large per my shoe size, but being that I have long legs I didn't feel the boot length went up where I would expect and felt overly tight in the calf. I contacted the company and they were very responsive. They quickly gave me an easy link to exchange them and the XL arrived and are perfect. I would suggest to buy a size up if you have long legs or bigger calves. Great customer service!

I have had all kinds of socks over the years. Some good and some bad. These seem to be the best I can think of. I originally purchased short ankle socks first then mid length ones for my 8” lace up boots and they are the perfect length. They do not fall down and your feet do not slip inside of the socks. After the first few trial pairs I have now purchased quite a few ankle socks and mid length ones. They have replaced all of my other socks. Last note I also like all of the color choices!

When I read the advert for these I was drawn in by statements of being both cool and dry. Great for both summer and winter. Moisture wicking was another key feature. But I do not recall reading anything about use as a compression sock. That was a fantastic surprise. I bought specialty socks from a medical supply outfit and they are not even in the same league as these Willow Ace socks. Unfortunately, I only had the good sense to buy 2 pairs of knee-length. But even the calf-length socks...

I didn't think I would like them. I have socks that folks would say are pretty tough. When I first tried on the socks they were very long. More of an over the calf style than a crew sock. I wore them with a set of boots that will traditionally pull the sock down into the boot. These socks didn't do that and in fact they actually held up pretty well. Overall I would recommend these socks.

These socks are a lighter weave, than the other Alpaca boot socks I have purchased at 3x the cost. My hunch is that brand X (3x cost) will out perform these in the cold mid-west winter, but I haven't had a chance to put them to the cold test. These socks have a better stretch and form compared to brand X. They also fit the same after washing and drying.

I have both the Hollow socks and Willow socks. I prefer the Willow socks over the Hollow socks because with compression socks they don’t slide down in cowboy boots. Highly recommended. I was leery of how thin they are, but my feet have stayed warm chaining my truck for Snoqualmie Pass.
