As usual, service and products are excellent. These Full Metal Fenders are THE Perfect Choice for my Trek FX3, (2022 Model, Gen. 3); the 700c X 45mm are a precise fit. Used on a three day bike packing trip in Vermont. Install was quick and simple. First time using a saddle pack and I was pleasantly surprised at how stable the rack was. No "tail wag" feeling at all, even on a somewhat over packed sack. The only drawback is a size issue. I purchased the 700x45 Full Metal Fenders for my 2024 Specialized Roubaix SL8 size 56, and they fit like a champ! There were plenty of pieces included in the kit to help me figure out the right combination for mounting, and the fenders are rock solid - no vibration and plenty of coverage for my tires. I use Sodapop MTB fenders on my gravel/touring Lynskey GR270. They’re hard to see under all the luggage. Tires shown are 650b x 48mm, and front tire clearance at the fork crown is tight. I sawed off the front fender adjacent to the mounting tab, at the rear of the fork so the fender doesn’t go under the crown at all. Rear fender fits OK. This adapter set worked perfectly in attaching your front fender from the PDW Full E-Bike Fenders set to the REI Coop Gen e 1.1 bike (20 inch) with the pneumatic front fork. I had to trim about 3.25 inches off of each fender strut and flip the small bracket on the fender over so that it protects down through the slot in the fender. Just installed. I do not own a bike without fenders. Decided on the PDW because they look the sturdiest on the market. I especially liked the double stays on the rear fender - more in a bit. I am 58. Portland Design Works Full Metal 700c Fenders 37mm, Black w/ Black Stays Best mudguards I've had. And I've had a few. These are mounted over 32mm GP5000TL tires. There is enough coverage. Just. The only issue is that the rear stays are not quite long enough for mounting to my seatstays. This is just a normal light touring frame based on the Van Nicholas Yukon. My wife and I both have the REI COOP e1.2’s and I’ve been looking for fenders for a while. Install was pretty straight forward, I didn’t take off the wheels, or deflate the rear tire, (however I did use a hacksaw on a 4mm Allen wrench so I could remove the bolt,) I then took the rear fender to the belt sander to shave off about a quarter inch of material to allow the bolt to go through the opposite side. We have several of these and they have been great lights. We’re invested in rechargeable batteries and run our lights with high capacity Eneloop type batteries (currently Ikea Ladda white precharged). They run for hours before needing to be recharged, the battery life is excellent. And they are bright. We run them in zZz-pop mode which is very noticeable at night or in daylight. I was looking for a good set of fenders for my touring bike and came across the PDW 700x55 full metal fenders. I ordered from PDW and received the fenders in just a few days.
