Customer photo review of Everyday Rack
Matt S.
I've had this rack for 3 years and use it constantly on my Manhattan commuter rig. As you can see in the pictures it integrated incredibly well with the FMB fenders. The little plugs didn't last more than 5 seconds on 9th ave. Improvement idea: mount for the reflector sat external to the bars. I tried 2-3 different reflectors and couldn't get any to fit. Anyway this rack will go the distance and looks way better than your average rack.

I guess from my time living in the Rose City, a bike doesn't seem fully dressed without fenders. These fenders really make this old girl! Over the years, I've put on a fair number of bike fenders and it can be a fiddly and frustrating process, but these full metal PDX Design fenders go on easy. They come with a full set of hardware and a nice little instruction booklet. as I’ve come to expect from Portland DesignWorks, all of the packaging, was recyclable. 45 fenders easily cover 35C tires. These work great on my REI CO-OP Generation e1.2, the same bike modeling these fenders on PDW’s website. However, you need a M5 x 80mm bolt, that didn’t ship with the set, to mount the front fender to the top of the fork to complete the install.

It took me a couple of hours and I’ve had to cut all of the stays to make the fenders fit on my long tail but I am very pleased with the results. The fenders are beautiful, rattle free and coverage is excellent. Now I’m ready for winter commutes, thank you.

Customer photo review of Cork Chop Grips+3

These grips are durable and look great - one attribute without the other is no bueno! I've been enjoying the comfort and support given my hands and palms during my daily cruise along the beach - and I've received multiple compliments and inquiries about the grips - people are very surprised when they wrap their hand around and feel the tacky and comfortable embrace of not natural cork(as everyone assumes the material to be) but a blend of materials that have a gratifying feel and have yet to sho...

I love this light when it's working, but unfortunately it doesn't maintain a charge for me for more than one ride, so this is where it usually lives on my countertop. EDIT: After this review, I was generously offered a battery replacement, but before I sent it off, my partner advised me to try a different charging cable and wall plug. It worked! It is now holding at four commutes, and still going strong. It's a good bright light with a great mounting system when it works! I am curious if there...

Customer photo review of Power Stance Kickstand

Portland Design Works is just the type of small business that I love to support and after buying their Sodapop fenders, I came back for this kickstand. I am thrilled with the significant upgrade that I have made to my bike. My old school kickstand started moving into and away from my bike and there seemed to be nothing that I could do to tighten it up. I found that I was constantly kicking it back into place while riding. PDW’s Power Stance Kickstand secures to the bike wonderfully and open and ...

Love the Origami fenders! I originally ordered the soda pop fenders that ended up not fitting my bike. PDW was quick to help out, and sent me a set of the Origamis, front and back. They are super easy to set up and was able to install in under 10 min. Also kept me clean during my first wet gravel ride of the winter. Shout out to Chris for doing the lords work!

This was my first time installing fenders and the process was pretty straight forward. They are very solid and rattle free during my short test ride. They look super nice on my Space Horse as well!

Customer photo review of Lucky Cat Kit

Built up a Wabi SS and needed something special, wanted a Japanese theme. And, since mountain bikers are dogs, and road bikers are cats (as someone once said), what better than this? Absolutely beautiful & rock-solid. Easy to find - that wide opening for the bottle means I almost never glance down to seat the bottle. Bottle's great, too. Solid seal with the top on tight & nipple closed - doesn't drip all down the frame. Nipple's easy to open between the teeth and has great flow. The only ...

Bike: REI Co-OP e1.2 Installation: REI store mechanic installed it for me. Is it worth paying the fee for installation after they were installed? in my opinion, yes. Why? Because there is one screw in the back wheel that I prefer to have pointing away from the wheel instead towards the wheel. Some of the reviews talk about it and they say they do not care about having the screw pointing towards the wheel. I prefer not pointing towards the wheel. To have the screw pointing away from the wheel, y...

Definitely a tough install (2 hours or so) but was able to get them on my e1.2 and they look great. Followed Jonathan R's advice to get them on without removing tires. Front tire was fairly straightforward. Ultimately might have just been easier to remove the rear tire but not sure. Peter E. claims 80mm bolt required but this isn't true - just need to fish the bolt up through stem and Allen key it from the opposite hole (though 80mm bolt through both holes probably would make the install easier...

Customer photo review of Takeout Basket

This basket is fantastic! I just love how it looks and performs on my Electra Townie. I will admit when I first saw it in person, I thought it was too small but I’ve since come around to thinking that it’s perfect. The bag holds quite a bit of stuff and even when fully loaded, it’s so securely held in place with the thoughtfully designed buckles that there’s no fear of losing anything. The bike lock holder is just a “chefs kiss” brilliant touch. I will advise anyone who purchases this basket to ...

Customer photo review of Power Stance Kickstand

I used this to replace the big bulky "center mounted - 2 legged " stand that comes stock on a Rad Bikes Radrunner1 . Because of the boxed in mounting surface on the bottom of the chainstays, it requires using either a 3/16 -1/4" thick plate , basically equal in dimensions to the existing plate welded on this kickstand , or enough flat washers (3 in my case) to shim it above the truss like plates that are factory welded on the bike to stabilize the stock kickstand. This is necessary to turn the n...

Excellent product, very well made, looks smart, came with clear instructions and every type of fitting solution possible. Well worth the expense. Fitting the mudguards (fenders) to my steel Fairlight Strael which comes with sufficient clearance to run with 28mm was a quick and easy task. Already used them on my commute ride through Edinburgh, which is known for having four seasons in a day.

I ride an 80's vintage Colnago roadie for transport and exercise. I live on a cycleway that I use a lot but the path stays wet for weeks after rain, so even on a nice day I get very wet. Hence the full metal road fenders. (mudguards in Australia). Just a tiny bit fiddly to fit to my bike as all the clearances are tight on the frame, but the well thought out fittings and most excellent instructions meant they went on perfectly. In use I was amazed there was not one rattle or any rubbing. Absolute...

Fixed my gender gap. Also was pleasantly surprised to not have to drill out and pop rivet it on, but that it was secured by 2 2mm Allen bolts. Made life easier. Noice

Have these on my "do everything" Seven, and I couldn't be happier. Secure, keeps me clean and dry and provides sufficient clearance to ride on all of my chosen gravel roads (I'm running 700x44 tubeless tires). Oh, and they look sweet!

Installed it on my wife’s e-trike. I cut the wire down to about a foot as it was mounted on the motor. I spliced the extra wire to the Kepler tail light to reach the motor as the trike is near seven feet long. Both work great

These are my new favorite grips. The Ergon BioKork grips aren’t bad but they look goofy and wore out somewhat quickly. These have a great shape and aren’t too soft.

I've used chromoplastic guards on all my previous commuter builds, but decided my new J.Laverack titanium build deserved better. I spent a good few hours finessing the fit with custom made washers, but it was worth the effort. They look amazing, are super rigid and make no noise. I agree with others that the standard stay is not really long enough for the rear. In my case my mounting bosses weren't quite perpendicular to the frame and pointed the safety clips outwards which meant the stay needed...

Customer photo review of Calf Nelson
Marsha H.
Almost five years ago, I bought my first Calf Nelson, and wrote a gushing review. I don't know why I gave it so few stars - lack of coordination, maybe. Why have I bought another? Because I lost the first. It certainly did not fall off my leg; it grips like an infant monkey. For two days I looked everywhere I might have left it, realized that money would assuage my sorrow, and ordered a replacement. I really felt the loss, and then I found the old one. If the picture I uploaded actually appe...

Very nice addition to my bike. The basket is such a sweet design. I think it’s more functional and aesthetically pleasing than any other on the market. I’m about to go to the grocery store and buy a gallon of milk which will easily fit in there. Thanks!

Customer photo review of Mud Shovel 6.5 Front Fender
Jacob R.
I really like the design and function of these fenders, and the fact that I can put a bracket on different bikes and easily swap between this and the Origami. Overall super happy with quality, design, and price. All that said, the mud shovel is truly massive. I put it on my standard MTB and it is absurd. It is super easy to trim down and get it how I want, but it would be great if there was a "medium" between this and the Origami. I like having decent length because it keeps my cables clean alon...

Customer photo review of Rear Hanger for Braze-ons Under Brake Bridge+1
John M.
I used this on my front wheel to get the fender closer to eliminate the visible silver L-bracket for a more sleek look. Never saw a hanger for the front fender that secures upwards, and didn’t want to expand the factory holes and add spacers. -1 star because the head of the mounting screw is super close to the fender and can scratch the finish if not careful.

Customer photo review of Full Metal Fenders - 650 Beast 65mm
Tj H.
I bought these 65mm fenders because the site had these beautiful photos of them on the same bike I own, a 2020 Kona Rove ST. Pretty sure the bike in the photos is actually wearing the beast 55mm fenders instead of the 65mm because of the chrome hangers and the fact I had to do a little tweaking of the rear fender to make it fit. So I think the 55mm would have fit fine, but with the 65’s I have lots of room to upsize the tires from the stock 47mm that came on the Rove. Test rode today and t...

I received the bingo spacer rather quickly but have yet to install as winter has slowed things down a bit. I do like the concept and it is very well made. I can’t wait to see how well it functions. Kudos to PDW for addressing a need, it’s the simple things that make bike packing so much better. Craig C

Excellent for night commuting, much better than standard USB rechargeable lights with integrated batteries. Just connect a powerbank and keep a spare, you can forget about charging for 2 weeks. Upgrade the power bank when it degrades. Perfect. It has no on/off button, so I added a short usb extension with a switch. Solved. Perfect for city riding but beam is quite narrow for off-road use.
