Fantastic Idea ! We prepared ahead of time with sending out roles to all participants. They were excited and had to read the script in advance to know their roles. Our house transformed in to Monte Carlo Casino, guests had cups with their character names so everyone knew who they are speaking with. We hosted the 1920's Murder Mystery party for a bridal shower, and it went great! We rented a wine vault venue and had everyone dress in their best 1920's flapper costume, and assigned characters as people came in the door. I had made character kits in bags, with their character guide, invite, name tag, notebook and pen. I loved this game and the fact that it can be played an endless amount of times. That sets it apart from others I have purchased and seen in the past. Also, no one has to worry about spoilers because there isn't a pre-determined guilty party. I was a host 2 times and the first time just wasn't as fun for me as the other guests because I knew the murderer the entire time. I highly recommend this for game for people interested in hosting.
