The team loved the theme and got into acting out their character in dress and voice and we had so many laughs. They never guessed the murderer who happened to be the snake oil salesman. Everyone brought a food dish based on the suggested menu and we barbecued the brisket. It helped that we were at a western themed lodge in Southern Alberta. This was everyone's first experience with a murder mystery party and we all had a blast. The more you get into character the better. As far as game time we had some smart cookies that figured it out fairly quick while others were still just lost at sea. We had one important person that could not make it nor call in. To ensure they were able to be a part of the game they recorded the detectives lines to play at all the proper moments. It became a star role!

We played with 7 adults ranging from 21-59 and had a fun time on Christmas Eve! I used the recordings of Santa that were provided to add some authenticity to the fun. It does take some prep so don’t wait until the last minute if you are hosting. Also, as the host, I opted out of knowing who the Poisoner was so I could play like everyone else. Grandma helped by sending each player the info they needed so I wouldn’t know. Enjoyed!!

This game was perfect for my murder mystery Harry Potter birthday party! The game is “off-brand” Harry Potter, some people dressed up in the offbrand characters and some dressed up in the OG HP characters. Both were super fun. Harriet Putter had a scar that was a golf ball and a hole/flag. Cedric Bigamy had multiple wives and was looking for more. It was hilarious. The game was easy to use and included everything needed.

I played this game with 6 of my girlfriends and we had an absolute blast we picked characters that were fun to dress up but used the script for the smaller game. I found it a bit confusing to begin with but if you spend some time reading the instructions it all becomes clear… I would definitely recommend this game. I printed everyone’s scripts so they had something to read to ban the mobile phone except for playing the inspectors script highly recommend

It was a great night. The sheriff's video information and the evidence folders were perfect. It gave us a chance to manoeuvre everyone into the lounge, err 'the games room' so we could set the next food course and refresh drinks etc, then back into the 'saloon' for continuation of questioning, dropping hints, music from Tinny Musick, who had his guitar with him...it was just us and our grown up kids and partners, so everyone came a bit earlier to help us finish of dressing the house then at 7.0...
