My daughter wanted a murder mystery for her 18th. We hired a pub and it was amazing. I hosted it and was super nervous but the instructions were easy to follow and everyone said they had the best time and it was a night to remember for my daughters 18th birthday, fun memories made with friends and family. WE also bought the set of 5 medals which were really good quality and participants loved them.

Our group had a fun night and enjoyed it thoroughly! We used the suggested menu and playlist, food was delicious and a good range of music. We added games before and after like pool noodle pony races, chuck-a-luck dice game, horse shoe toss and a nerf gun shoot out.

This was a super fun event for my birthday. I let everyone choose what character they wanted to be, and then emailed their character profile a couple days in advance so they had an opportunity to really get to know their character. I was thrilled at how much everyone got into it. It was a blast. Super easy to follow along once you figured it out. We even took a dance break in between.

Such a laugh - the reveal of murderer after Rd 1 was a different twist & very exciting. Can’t wait for the next one in another year.

Eleven yr old girls Bithrday party and it was a huge hit. I ended up buying the 20 person so they had enough female charaters to choose from. They wore costumes, had props like gilter test tubes, crowns, googles etc. We put up "portraits" of each charater so they could see the real person and they all wanted to take theirs home. We put a wand in a old suitcase and my daughter picked things form around the house to make other historic displays- thor's hammer, a golden dog statue, fancy necklace...

What a blast! My neighborhood ladies game group really got into this and I enjoyed adding all the props. We had a fun time and everyone seemed to appreciate the scripts which made it easy to stay in character. I appreciate that the content is very family friendly, without some of the sordid details that are often in other "adult" games. Well done, Masters of Mystery! And thank you!

Absolutely loved this! We had so much fun getting dressed up and the characters and storylines were really easy to follow. We were able to enjoy a meal while playing with everyone getting involved and being able to follow what was going on. There were 8 of us all together ranging from 12 years to 72! This is the second Masters of Mystery game we have played and would recommend. Looking at a Christmas one next.

I have never hosted a murder mystery party and most of my guests had never been to one. The game had everything I needed to make the night run smoothly. This was so epic! I will say, i was a character as well as the host and i found it a little confusing which is possible it was just a busy night but that’s my only complaint! This was so much fun! Would highly recommend. Everyone of our guests have said this was such a neat experience and so fun to mix groups of people at this event. We catered from La Rustica to add to a 4 course Italian meal. And decorated with Venice Theme. Added the 4 stages of the game to the 4 courses of food. So much fun - we can't wait to do it again!

I hosted this Murder Mystery Night from Monte Carlo with Murder for my birthday. It was an absolute hit amongst my friends. People became actors with their well written characters. The event took place as a cocktail party at the Colton House Hotel in Austin Texas. The room fit the scene in every way and made it easy for the role players to gather together in small groups but also branch out. I would 100% do it again and next time I'll suggest it as a team building exercise at my company.

Our Ladies 18 Hole Banquet! We had 11 tables with 6 ladies per table. I had a couple of practice runs with a ‘captain’ for each table. Night of banquet was a total surprise for all! Absolutely fantastic! We had 21 players ranging in age from 7 years (a good reader) to 75. The game was meant for only 20 players but the King of Hydrock was on audio or script , so we had one person controlling the game and the other reading the script so that we had a role for everyone in the group. It took roughly 4 1/2 hours taking in a medieval banquet of pie and mash after round 2. Costume and characters were great as was the idea of awards.

The team loved the theme and got into acting out their character in dress and voice and we had so many laughs. They never guessed the murderer who happened to be the snake oil salesman.
