The characters were hilariously named. My party attendants embraced each character and it really was a roaring good time! As hostess the guide was easy to follow and I enjoyed seeing the story as it unfolded. I purchased this as a surprise party for my best friend, and she was not only surprised, she loved it! I'm actually considering doing another murder mystery soon!

Our "killer" didn't realize they were the "killer" so no one was reading the guilty lines. We still laughed until we cried with everyone acting out the roles. Unlike other games, we can play this again and select a murderer.

I think this is the 6th game I have gotten from Masters of Mystery and it didn't disappoint! This Regency era game had a lot of fun extra gossipy tidbits that made the game more scandalous. I look forward to playing this one again!

This was my first time hosting a Murder Mystery with a fairly large group! About 12 players participated and we had fun going through the dialogues and roleplaying as our designated characters. I hosted for 10 people for my burthday... As someone who grew up in the 80's, we had so much fun!! Everyone dressed up... we played 80's music... had 80's movies playing on the tv's... It was so easy to download and print the scripts and host the event. And I turned out to be the murderer! I'm already starting to think about the next one!

My daughter threw a James Bond party for her 17th birthday. The teens had so much fun! With only a week to prep, it was easy to put together and everyone got into it. I did read through the scripts and take out a few words that I felt were too sexy for this crew. It was mild even at that, but I wanted to be very sure it was comfortable for everyone. It was easy to do and didn't effect the play at all. They are already talking about who will host the next one.

It was easy to prepare and easy to follow....even for the younger kids. We took this on a hen party and had such a lovely evening, we ordered masquerade masks to go with the theme and made a whole evening of it! It was pretty easy to follow the rumour round was the hardest to understand but the other rounds were great!! Only half the group guessed the murder correctly which shows how much everyone was getting into acting out the characters. Definitely worth the money do check you are buying the physical game if you need the printed out copy.

We had a blast! We went strictly off the script, didn’t use the audio/video stuff. It’s definitely a lot of work for the host (if they play) because they have to be the host, the detective, and their character. We used the circus food and music suggestions that were included with the game. I got very creative with my decorations and I also made the victim and extra evidence that wasn’t included. My friends had never done a murder mystery before and are begging me to do more!

It was best 18th birthday for my daughter! We had a dinner party at our house. What made it so fun was that everyone came in costume and got into character. The scripts were easy to follow and once we got going the guests felt more comfortable to interact. There were more male characters in the kit, so a few of us really got into character. Our whole dinner took about 2 hrs. The kit had everything we needed and laid out instructions well. So fun!

We hosted the Masquerade Ball Mystery party for my daughter's 15th birthday. The evening was lovely. The parts were well laid out and the girls had a great time. There was the perfect blend of scripting and help for each girl to participate in the mystery. At the end of the night, there were lots of accusations thrown around with one person correctly identifying the murderer.
