I ordered the 1000-16 from TronXY via air shipping. It arrived quickly via UPS. The bed box was delayed by a couple of days and was looking quite battered, but the contents still worked. I took my time assembling it over several days, and only needed extra help when it came to fitting the (very heavy) bed in place and the control box. Leveling was quite straight forward and I ran the auto-level around 10 times while making minor adjustments to the bed screws to dial it in. I printed two tes...

I split up the assembly over three days, and it came together very well. It is a BIG printer. Initial test prints have come out good. I replaced the four metal bed clips with eight printed retainers using a stl file provided by tronxy. Since the change the bed has been solid with no ability to shift in the X or Y direction. This also allows the bed to level on the bed screws better. The only trouble I had was with the automatic z-stop install. I cannot get it to work so I am auto leveling...

The Only problem was I had to order direct, could not find any spares anywhere on ther internet. It did not take that long to arrive so buying direct was not that much of a problem. The only other thing I would like to mention is that it appears to me that Tronxy do not seem to support much these days with the IDEX printers. I am loving this machine. It has had very little rest since it arrived. It arrived the day after I ordered it, and was very well packed. The quality of the prints have been excellent, and I am really loving the large print volume. As it is a kit, there is some assembly required. After looking at a number of reviews, one better than the other, I ordered the Tronxy X5SA Pro. Delivery went smoothly and neatly. Already printed some upgrades, see photo. I really like the CRUX 1. The print result is excellent, using PrusaSlicer with 8 mm retraction. Unfortunately the parts fan broke down after 1 week. I already installed a new one. @ Kenneth R I just saw your review. I bought the 1000-16 model and I agree that the instructions on bed leveling are a bit vague. Basically, you auto-level first and that gives you the mesh values. It looks at the lowest value and the highest value and if the difference is too big then it will register as a "fail" because it is outside of the range for the auto-level to compensate during a print. The upsized Lego flowers that i made came out really nice without any hickups or other weird performance issues that i saw on other printer like stringing or bad prints. Most youtubers recommend a very simple famous brand printer full of problems and upgrades to make to exchange in the future with a better one.
