The colors were darker and different than I expected. The rug almost looks like it has dark blue in it. At first I wanted to return it because I was looking for a more grey rug but it grew on it and now I like it enough to keep it. I like how it instantly lays flat with no wrinkling. Definitely needs a rug pad for cushion and to keep it from sliding around. Looks nice overall though.

Here’s the thing- I do not like flat rugs like these. There’s no volume, and I plain ol’ don’t like it. HOWEVER, our 17 year old cat has gotten grumpy in his old age and seemed to hate our new IKEA rug that I loved.

It’s a beautiful design. I give it 4 stars because the color is not pictured totally accurately. In person the rust appears more pink, and the beige/tan areas are darker and have a lot of green in them. Up close you can see that many of the fibers are literally green. I’m hoping in the right room and with the right lighting it’ll still be accomplish the look I’m going for.

I ordered the same pattern (versailles winter grey) in a large rug and runner - they are slightly different in appearance, like the same pattern of the large rug was shrunk to fill the runner - but both look very nice and so far have been easy to clean. I put an underpad to make them soft to walk on. Overall very happy with my purchase.
