Received my Proof Syrup Traditional about two weeks ago but waited on my son in law to come into town to try it. We both list old fashions as our favorite cocktail. Mixing the drink was fast and very easy. Topped ours off with an orange peel twist. We expected it to be good based on the reviews BUT were blown away with how good of a drink Proof Syrup made. I highly recommend and cannot wait to try some of the other flavors.

I love an Old Fashioned, but I don't like to take the time to make them from scratch (nor do I have all of the ingredients readily available most of the time). This Proof Syrup is the bomb! Making an Old Fashioned cocktail couldn't be any easier and more delicious! With or without the orange garnish, you will love this super-simple cocktail!

Oh ....... My ....... God! I love an Old Fashioned when I'm out, but was never inclined even to try to make one at home. Lazy? Perhaps. But, who isn't. This is sooooo easy. I can make an Old Fashioned in less than one minute even if I go to the trouble of cutting an orange peel and pulling a cocktail cherry from the fridge. Until I tried Proof Original, ordering an Old Fashioned cocktail in a restaurant or in a bar was not very frequent. There are also bartenders who do not make one well. If I had a good Old Fashioned cocktail served to me, it was always a special treat. Now, with a simple bottle, I can enjoy my very own good Old Fashioned in the comfort of my home. And, it tastes great!

Great flavor, and extremely smooth. Have tried it with several bourbons, and even a spiced rum and it has been great each time. Easiest way to make an old fashioned at home without having to have all of the ingredients on hand or worry about mixing everything just right.

Have only tried the Maple/Bacon and my trick is add couple of ounces to 18 oz of Bourbon in a bottle and when you want an old fashioned simple pour over ice. Love these!

I love an Old Fashioned but am no bartender, much preferring to keep my bar work simple and fast. My daughter is actually the one who turned me on to Proof Traditional Old Fashioned syrup and I thank her for the introduction! I’ve put so many people on to this. I have been to MANY mid to high-end restaurants in Miami/ NY/ CO, and practically anywhere I go, and this by far is the BEST old fashion I’ve had. All my friends who drink Olds often agree. So much that at times we go to places with a flask of just the Proof Syrup Maple Bacon just in case they make the Old Fashions crappy lol. To Proof, you guys need to get a deal with Total Wine to have these available for quicker access, plzzzz🙏🏼🙌

Camping with friends I offered to make Old Fashions. The reaction wasn't great but I persisted and made everyone drinks using Proof Traditional and bourbon. Everyone had seconds. Proof that Proof makes some kick-ass Old Fashioned Cocktail Syrup. It's especially great for camping when you want good cocktails while travelling light. Can't wait to try other flavors! Cheers!

I make an old fashioned every night...no joke. I used to stir together some water and sugar, add a few dashes of bitters, pour the bourbon, add a cherry, peel off some orange. No more! THANK YOU Proof for making my evening cocktail sooo much easier!

I’d been thinking about buying a bottle for the last few months, but really had a hard time justifying $35 for what I thought was just a bottle of simple syrup. A few weeks ago, in a moment of bourbon-induced weakness, I made an order. So glad I did! Much more than simple syrup, it made one of the best old fashioned I’ve ever had! The flavor is amazing, but doesn’t overwhelm the bourbon. Wish I’d got the 3 pack, but something to look forward to!

This is amazing stuff! I've tried a dozen different recipes for Old Fashions with variances of every ingredient; I'm telling you for a two ingredient cocktail, this rivals even the most complicated recipe. I started with "traditional" flavor and have since ordered three more bottles with different flavors; I'm looking forward to all of them! Add a quality marinated cherry and a slice of orange rind for that "extra" touch ; )

Can’t take the flavor of bourbon neat. Had an old fashioned at a local restaurant,, flavor was nice, “Proof’s” blows the $12 old fashion away. Ordered a bottle to try, now I need a fresh bottle after 2+ weeks of enjoyment. Will be experimenting with other flavors but see me going back again to the original. Great product.

I've tried to duplicate an Old Fashion I once got at a local restaurant...but could never get it right. I've settled on Basel Hayden being my favorite to add to the proof. I make it simple without the orange slice but use the Middleton Smoke Top to add cherry smoke to the drink. This really is the ticket to a fantastic old fashioned! Buy it now!

My husband likes Old Fashions and I like Moscow Mules. Proof has made it easy for each of us to enjoy our favorite drinks. The syrups are great and we love that you can use each syrup for different drinks. I was so happy to see that they came out with the new syrups such as Citrus Sour and Ginger and happy to say that they are just as great as the Traditional. Can’t wait to try some of the other flavors they have!

Sometimes I just don't have the energy to mix ingredients for a cocktail. With Proof I can simply add the mixer to my liquor and WHAMMY! A super delicious, ready to drink, fancy tasting cocktail.
