The Old Fashioned is my cocktail of choice and I've been drinking them and making them for quite some time. I've never been able to duplicate the flavors I get from a professionally made Old Fashioned until Proof came along. I tried the sample set and have come to enjoy my homemade Old Fashioneds as much as my bar purchased ones, if not more because mine are less expensive! Kudos to Proof!

Best mixer ever!! Had a party over the 4th of July weekend. Everyone loved my Old Fashioned!! Everyone wanted the recipe. Had to confess towards the end of the party my secret mix. It's PROOF Old Fashioned cocktail syrup I said. Easy, breezy, fun. Perfect Old Fashioned every time. Got a shipment just in time for my party. I'm all out! Time to reorder. I'm a non paid customer 🤣🤣😛. I truly love the product. Try it!

I loved the mini sampler. Before I bought the sampler, I only tried the traditional proof syrup. I was hesitant about a couple flavors in the pack (specifically black walnut and pecan). After trying all of the flavors the black walnut was one of my favorites. Because all of them being so good, I’m looking at buying one a full size sampler so I can have all my favorite flavors on hand.

An Old Fashion with Proof is not even in the same universe as a sugar cube and some bitters. Very powerful mixer, 1/2 oz is all you need so one bottle will last you. Maple Beacon is very smooth. I was actually hoping for a little more beacon so don’t think that your gonna scare away a vegan with this one. Excellent product. I will reorder. Also looking forward to adding a a different flavor. I tried Proof Traditional Old Fashioned Cocktail Syrup for the first time this evening, with Buffalo Trace bourbon, and loved the result. It makes it so easy to prepare a great-tasting Old Fashioned at home. I used a little more syrup than it calls for on the label, since I like my cocktails on the sweeter side. Now I just need to get proper cocktail picks for those wonderful Luxardo cherries.

I'm almost always disappointed with old fashioneds when I go out, especially at the price they charge. Two oz. Woodford Reserve, 1/2 oz. Proof Syrup and a Luxardo cherry makes a consistently perfect cocktail at home every time. I'll be a repeat customer!

I got it as a Father’s Day gift and love it. Almost done with the bottle. I’ve made old fashioned cocktails for years and this tastes better than anything I’ve ever mixed. I also made a earl grey old fashioned with Proof and it was so good.

I have a confession. I bought Proof Orange as a “what the heck” add-on to a larger purchase. Now, it’s my favorite. The proof team keeps coming up with new ways to improve my cocktail experience, and the addition of orange flavor makes the already tasty Proof Old Fashioned even more yummy. The cocktail engineers at Proof are amazing - masters at balancing flavor, sweetness and spice.

I was pleasantly surprised on how good the proof syrup is for an old fashioned. I joined my neighbor who provided Bourbon and some cherries along with my Proof syrup and we drank half the syrup bottle in a week so I ordered the 5 pack set.

I love this product. I tried the classic first which was absolutely delicious, then tried the pecan. As good as the original is the pecan is better! This is, without a doubt, my go to for bourbon. I will be trying the black walnut next!

Phenomenal product!! I love a good Old Fashioned but at the end of a tough day, there was more effort than I was willing to give to make one. We really enjoyed our Proof (traditional). It tasted just like we had spent time behind the bar homemaking one, but without the hassle. We did add a twist to our second glass. We have a friend that locally sells pomegranate juice, so we added a splash. It was sooooo very good, not that it needed it but just to experiment.

Glad I found the original by Proof, I was a bit Skeptical before I got it, it only took 2 drinks to find the perfect way to mix it, and yes I do have a set of wood planks to get the right amount of Smokey flavor. After enjoying my first Old Fashioned in Kentucky, I was determined to create one at home. Proof syrup makes this fool proof! At first it seemed a bit pricey, but the bottle goes a long way since you only use 1/2 ounce. It makes an absolutely delicious Old Fasioned and is now a staple in our home bar!

My wife and I like the pecan Proof and don’t do anything to fancy mixing the drinks up just like an Old Fashioned. I prefer mixing with bourbon and my wife prefers the pecan syrup with Rye. They are both really good. One thing to mention even though it is in the instructions is to shake the bottle well before mixing.

A little sweet on the first one I made. After a few adjustments, I think I have the proportions down. Easy to make, and as close to a true Old Fashion as can be; of course made with Rye bourbon like in the old days.

I've tried the original and the Black Walnut. I love Black Walnut. I have also gotten several of my friends to start buying it. It's easy to get hooked when you see how 30 seconds makes the perfect drink every time. I really want to start trying some of the other recipes! In addition to the product, the people are great. I had a slight leak on shipping once and they immediately send me a replacement.

Proof Syrup Traditional Old Fashion mix raises my home bar to the next level. Actually, I’d say it’s better than going to the bar, since I get to choose which bourbon to use without having to pay the obscene prices they charge by the shot. And these days, I prefer having small gatherings at home with close friends instead of going to bars in public, only now I don’t have to sacrifice on the quality of our drinks.

This has been the most amazing old fashion mixer I have ever had. Better than any bar or restaurant. When paired with a barrel proof bourbon, it is the perfect amount of sweet without being over powerful. I will definitely be ordering again. So amazing!

Took the traditional syrup to the local bar so we could compare. Bartender and I could not tell the difference, both terrific. One of the other bartenders picked (blind test)the Proof as slightly better as it was a tad less sweet.

I'm well into middle age, love my drinking time, but mainly cut it back to white wines or vodka cocktails. At the urging of my younger brother last New Year's Eve, I tried a Bourbon and Ginger Ale. Loved it, but only had a second one when I made a trip to NYC. Work (via the hotel package) paid for the first two cocktails, and while there I had to try a Manhattan. Maple Bacon old fashioned in 30 secs with no prep work? There's no way it can be even half decent... That's what I thought when I took a shot and purchased a bottle of Proof. I was so wrong! I'm a whiskey snob and I take a lot of pride in my OF & manhattans, and I absolutely love these...more importantly, my wife loved them as well. We had a a Halloween get together, and this was a giant hit. I'll be buying more.
