I was skeptical about Proof producing an amazing Old Fashioned. It is one of my favorite drinks but had not been successful replicating old fashioned’s I ordered at my favorite cocktail bar. But I was blown away by how perfect my first drink made with Proof turned out. So impressed, I have sent a bottle to three friends and will be ordering a couple more bottles for my self. A believer!!!

I bought the original to try it out and loved it. I was very intrigued with the maple and bacon, but was scared to pull the trigger in case I didn't like it. I now wish I bought it sooner because I LOVE it! There is more maple than bacon flavor but I don't mind because I enjoy it sweeter. Phenomenal, my husband is impressed too! He doesn’t usually like maple flavored anything but this didn’t have a deep maple taste and he loves it! I got both traditional and maple bacon, both are delicious, but I’d say the maple bacon is a touch sweeter.

I initially order the Traditional just to experience the quality of Proof’s products. I was so impressed that I soon order their Traditional Master Set. The pic was taken when we had dinner guests. They loved the Traditional Old Fashions and ordered their own. But it gets better. A week later I made Maple Bacon Old Fashions for friends and OMG, they said it was the best mixed drink they ever had.

I'm still learning my bottle Proof and what I can do with it, but the Old Fashioneds I've concocted thus far have been simply delightful. Absolutely love this syrup. Made it for guests this weekend who raved about it and became new customers. My only criticism is how you offer additional discounts on adding to the order and when we do you charge additional shipping as if it is a separate order. Don’t care for that so much.

I love the traditional Old Fashioned Proof. I have been a bourbon guy for years and this adds a nice touch to some of my favorite aged bourbons. Just trying Wolcott for the first time and I must say it’s quite pleasant. I am a bit of a traditionalist but might try some of the other Proof syrups to broaden my horizons. Great product and I’m glad I discovered it!

Having tried Proof Traditional Old Fashioned Cocktail Syrup several times, this evening I moved on to the Maple Bacon flavor. As I expected, the Old Fashioned I made with Wild Turkey bourbon was very good, but I wish the maple and bacon flavors were more prominent. Maybe I need to throw a rasher of bacon in the glass instead of those Luxardo cherries.

I have tried so many different mixes trying to perfect an "Old Fashioned" and I have to say, Proof Traditional Syrup does the trick for me. The attached picture shows two jars of what I call "Old Fashioned Soaked Cherries" I simply soak some fresh cherries in my Old Fashioned. I'll let you know how they turn out. I'm sure they will be delicious.

I had been on the fence about buying such a big bottle, but boy that maple bacon sure looked good. When I saw the other flavors, I really couldn’t make up my mind. Very impressed with how easy it is to consistently make a delicious old-fashioned with these syrups. I also love how economical it is, just half an ounce with your bourbon means you've got a long lasting supply of cocktails. I chose the Maple Bacon, and while it tastes phenomenal, I'd like to find more bacon notes, I catch some on the nose but neither me, my wife nor friends have tasted any bacon flavor. Even Still, I'll be ordering again, cheers!🥃
