Proof does an excellent job of delivering the tast you'd expect of a well made Old Fashioned. I don't think I could do much better when I do it myself even using the best ingredients for a classic Old Fashioned recipe. This simplifies and speeds up making multiple servings to guests.

when we first started buying the traditional syrup it was taking quite awhile to get. Sometimes 3 weeks or more. They seem to have corrected that problem and we get it in a timely fashion now. As far as the syrup goes, it's five star and we've been buying it for at least a year.

We bought the flavored ones as well, and like both of them (pecan and maple bacon), but this is a nice classic flavor – very smooth and balanced. Sure is easier than making my own, and well worth the purchase! I recommend it without hesitation!

The only thing I was not pleased about was that I ordered it as a Christmas gift for my son in law, and you did not send it in another box or even plastic bag. You slapped the shipping label right to the box. So it came in the actual packaging. If he had been at our house when it came, he definitely would have seen it. And, I had to work hard to peel the shipping label off of it so I could wrap it.

I have not found an Old Fashioned syrup yet that is as good as this. Hands down the best available. The only issue I have is the shipping charge. It takes quite a while for the product to get out the door, and then to get to you, so I'm not sure why it costs so much. That being said, whoever packs the product for shipping does one heck of a good job. Kudos! I'll keep buying this syrup. I'll just place an order before my current bottle runs out.
