Gave it as a gift for my son's birthday, by the time I got to the party, it was all gone, but luckily there was part of the pitcher left. The flavor and aromas were fresh and just right. Good thing I saved the $79 bottle of Bourbon for later. We will be re-ordering soon!

The item was bought as a gift for my ladyfriend, but ithe purchase was based on her satisfaction with a previous bottle that I bought for her. She thinks the Proof Syrup makes a good "Od Fashioned" and it is easy and simple to mix without having to have a lot of different ingredients on hand. She adds a sliver of orange peel to the mix and enjoys.

My husband and I have tried several flavors of Proof syrup, but we keep coming back to the original. Guess we're traditional folks. It makes it so easy to make a delicious old fashioned! I decided to do the subscription for my husband for our 30th anniversary.

I have not found an Old Fashioned syrup yet that is as good as this. Hands down the best available. The only issue I have is the shipping charge. It takes quite a while for the product to get out the door, and then to get to you, so I'm not sure why it costs so much. That being said, whoever packs the product for shipping does one heck of a good job. Kudos! I'll keep buying this syrup. I'll just place an order before my current bottle runs out.

Love it! Initially tried with Knob Creek bourbon (shown), because it was what I had. Have since tried with Bulleitt rye - fantastic!

The pecan flavor is not overpowering, but distinct, and makes for a tasty and simple cocktail for all occasions. I like mine with Rye!
