I have always loved a good Old Fashioned, but more and more I have found bars and restaurants using horrible, cheap mixes. I was turned on to Proof and from the first sip I was in love! Now I recommend it to all my friends, and we all agree: if it's an Old Fashioned, it's Proof.

I'm a bartender and some what of an Old Fashioned snob. I was planning a micro wedding and knew that the groom was a fan of the cocktail, so I decided to add it in the bar as a pre-made drink. I added bourbon and an orange peel to the mix for a little extra zing! The Pecan Old Fashioned was a hit with everyone!

While it took a while to get my Proof syrup, the wait was worth it. Super easy to make a cocktail. I haven't experimented with it yet, it's on my list of things to do. I ordered the Black Walnut (yum, yum, yum) and the Original. I can't wait to try out the new flavors. Proof Syrup makes is so easy to have a delicious cocktail quickly. I'm looking forward to taking them on vacation.

Wow, I did not expect the taste I got from the Maple Bacon Proof. I saw a review where they suggested mixing with Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey. It was GREAT, but after about half the drink it became a little overwhelming. Next time I will back off the amount of Proof I use; I may have accidentally overdone it, but what a great drink.

We bought the flavored ones as well, and like both of them (pecan and maple bacon), but this is a nice classic flavor – very smooth and balanced. Sure is easier than making my own, and well worth the purchase! I recommend it without hesitation!
