For the last several months I’ve been on the quest of trying to create the perfect Old Fashioned. I found that most of the online homemade recipes left me with the sense of wanting. I wasn’t sure what I was buying but I’m glad I did. I now love mixing the traditional Proof Syrup with some of my favorite bourbons to make the ultimate Old Fashioned. A little orange peel and a cherry to top it off. Voila! Perfect Old Fashioned! Love it.

Forget buying the "normal" syrups any more, it's Proof Syrup from now on! The White Peach adds a different (on a good way) and very welcome touch to any cocktail. Having real ingredients instead of the being flavored like peach sets it apart from the rest.

I have always thought making a good old fashioned was difficult. That was before I tried the Proof Old Fashioned syrup. This is the easiest, and I might add the best way to make this classic drink. No messing with bitters and simple syrup. Muddle some orange in the bottom of the glass, add some orange or lemon peels, fill the glass with ice, then pour in the Bourbon. I put in three ounces of bourbon, and simply add 1/2 ounce of the Proof syrup, stir well, and you are ready for the best tasting ...

My wife bought a bottle of the Old Fashioned syrup for Christmas. Enjoyed it very much and have since bought another bottle plus a bottle of the Maple Bacon. That also is excellent. Look forward to sampling other flavors.

I initially tried the Maple Bacon Proof Syrup in an Old-fashioned and can't say I loved it. Retrospectively, that may have been because I don' typically drink Old-Fashioneds. Then I adapted my old family Manhattan recipe, to great success: - 3 ounces Bulleit Rye - 1.25 ounces Sweet Vermouth - 0.5 ounces Maple Bacon Proof Syrup - Splash of cherry juice

The Traditional mix is my favorite and my wife enjoys Pecan. I was slightly skeptical at first, even after reading the many positive reviews from others. Old Fashioneds are a big part of my past and I’m a big fan of these syrups. An excellent drink every time!

My favorite cocktail of all time is an old fashioned. I’ve have had many versions and recipes and I have to say that simply mixing proof syrup and rye is just as good or better than anything I’ve had at an upscale bar. 2 oz. rye to a 1/2 oz. of proof syrup. Add an orange peel twist and a cherry and you have the PERFECT old fashioned without all the effort.

I learned how to make an Old Fashioned from the Maker's folks themselves, and my good buddy from Louisville, KY was visiting, so we had an Old Fashioned challenge. Love your product; however, I really wish you would just use USPS as the only shipper instead of using DHL also. I would gladly pay more to get my product more timely. My husband and I both have ordered and on average it takes 2 weeks to receive the product from the time we order it.

Less than one year ago, my spirit of choice was a Manhattan with Jack Daniels, shaken 15-times and up. I saw this advertisement for Proof Old Fashioned syrup. The last time that I had an Old Fashioned was in the Jungle Bar of the Menzies Hotel in Sydney, Australia, during my youth, while on R&R from Vietnam. I could not even remember what they tasted like. I placed an order. I have one a day since, before having one Manhattan. There is none better!

This is the best mix I’ve ever had for an Old Fashion. Really doesn’t need any additives however, I often put a Premium Peninsula cherry with 1/2 tsp cherry syrup and an orange rind. I may never go back to previous mixes!

i did not realize what i have been missing all these years. now a proof traditional old fashion is my go-to for a nightly cocktail. i'm an adventurer. i have tried proof traditional old fashion syrup with kentucky bourbon, tennessee whiskey, rye whiskey, brandy, tequila, and clear 'shine. makes a perfect drink every time. goes fantastic with all of them. i am mostly a kentucky bourbon drinker, but need a change every now and then. thanks for coming up with proof traditional old fashion syrup....

Always on point. I recommend using a little less than recommended as it can be a little sweet. But, if you like it sweet, go for it. Had 5 couples over on Sat. and made all 5 classic old fashioned with Rye and traditional syrup with orange peel and a Woodford bourbon cherry.
