Truly perfect and well worth it (less than $1 per drink). No sugar cubes, bitters, orange peel, etc. Just pour 1/2 oz. in, stir, and you’re done for the perfect Old Fashioned.

Every old fashioned I have EVER made with Proof syrup has been a bona fide crowd pleaser! I recently used Proof Syrup to create a barrel aged (8 weeks) old fashioned and the result can not be justified with words. I bottled it in various sized vanity bottles and had to start my second batch within 2 weeks because it was in high demand. Oleo Saccharem = heaven in a bottle. Customer for life :)

I'd rate this six stars if I could--if I've had a better old fashioned anywhere, I don't remember it. I've been using Rittenhouse Rye to make my old fashioneds, and they're fantastic. I've also shared these with some of my friends who are not normally old fashioned drinkers, and they also liked it. Good stuff!

I’m not a big fan of cocktail shortcuts, so I was hesitant to try Proof’s Traditional syrup. Man, I’m so glad that I did. The syrup, my favorite bourbon, and an orange peel made a quick and delicious Old Fashioned that I truly enjoyed. I’ve got a friend who loves craft cocktails, but doesn’t like the time and effort that goes into making them. I immediately let him know that if he got a bottle of Proof his dilemma would be solved.
