We bought this for a good friend's 70th birthday, and l now look forward to sharing his present. We ordered this last Friday morning, it was delivered the day after, complete with the engraving on the bottle, and l must add that the first attempt to deliver was on Saturday morning but we were out, a note was left to say they were coming back tomorrow, early evening there was a knock on the door, our bottle, over and above....all round brilliant.

Lovely dram. Ticks all the boxes; great distillery, Campbeltown style, cask strength, peated and finished in red wine cask. On the nose- macerated raspberries, with lovely salinity which doesn’t make it overly sweet. Subtle smoke- more like a rich wood smoke. Taste- initially dry and woody (surprisingly), melting into sweeter notes though still some tart fruit. A little citrus at the end of the tasting with slight salt and pepper finish. Finish is long and where the peat comes in. Again, wood...

Easy to order, free delivery, what more do you want! Excellent whisky! Nose: Huge salinity to start with - salt and seaweed notes. There's some toffee, tropical fruit and a little citrus. Little in the way of smoke - it's very faint. After a few sips of the liquid, the smoke comes through more on the nose - interesting. Palate: Thick syrupy arrival - loads of chewy salted caramel and dried fruit: sultanas, raisins, figs, dates etc. There's some berries hints here too - blueberry jam? The liquid ...

Beautiful dram For a 12 year old it has aged well beyond its years. Thick malty chocolate with a Java coffee hit wrapped in the soft industrial smokey tobacco Campbeltown profile we all love. Keep up the good work. Best regards Your biggest fan!

Victoriana was my top Malt for 2022 and I sipped quite a few. So good I went and bought 4 more, plus the15 year old and a bottle of Tawny Port 14 festival edition. I have also booked a 4 day March break in Campbeltown to visit all the distilleries. Can’t wait! Now my favourite whisky region. Thanks guys

This whisky did not disappoint. That Campbeltown unique character is there with its sea spray maritime quality followed by earthy dunnage notes and rich fruitcake and spices from sherry. An absolute pleasure to drink.

Overall: As with pretty much all Glen Scotia expressions, I really like this. It’s quite a contrast to the previous releases and that’s a good thing. This is an ‘I want a serious whisky tonight’ type of dram, and that’s always a great addition to any whisky cabinet.

Glen Scotia have done it again with an excellent release at a more affordable price than most would do for a special release. The taste is clearly Campbeltown with a superb rich balance of fruity notes and hints of toffee and peach. It’s changing every time I go back to it.

Purchased 3 Double Cask presentation Gift sets for our upcoming wedding. Absolutely amazed on how they looked. They were individually well gift wrapped and delivered in strong packaging. Each even contained a small name card to allow me to know whom I was presenting them too, this saved me ripping open the beautiful Glen Scotia embossed tissue paper that covered the box inside. This is a lovely Whisky from a very friendly distillery in a very scenic Campbeltown. Top marks

I can't comment on the Glen Scotia 15yr old whisky as it was a gift but the recipient was delighted to receive it and the glass. However getting the whisky was a bit of a saga as I was initially sent someone else's order and it took a couple of emails to get a response. Once they were aware, Nicola got the replacement bottle to me very quickly and provided a label for returning the other bottle.

Tried this whiskey in a sample set during lockdown (what else was there to do?), made a note of the name as it’s was best in the set. Once I felt rich enough (rubbish at buying stuff for myself), I ordered a bottle for fake Christmas (Easter), it may not last, 9 days to go!

I’ve always liked Springbank and Glen Scotia whiskies. Given you can’t get hold of Springbank I always default to GS Double Cask for its caramel notes. The festival edition feels a lot more sophisticated than the normal Double Cask. Absolutely love it. Works for every mood. I’m already getting anxious that it will become harder and harder and more expensive to get with time as it runs out. If this was an experiment please keep on experimenting!!!!!!

Very simple ordering system and the helpful team were able to correct a daft error of mine. Very fast service if you need a quick, high quality gift. Only slight issue is that I ordered three as presents for different people but I'll have to unwrap them to work out which is which...pity as they're beautifully wrapped and presented.
