First, I have never been disappointed with iTechWorld products.. As for the DCDC40, same, it's as simple as plug and play. The hardest part it to thread the wires from the car battery into the car... Have a 6.1 meter trailer sailer in Canberra. Main sailing here is on Lake Burley Griffin where petrol outboards only allowed should there be an emergency. Well about 18 months ago I installed 2 iTech World 120 Lithiums in my AOR Quantum plus to greatly satisfying all our electrical needs including our coffee machine and my wife's hair drier (yes you read it right!) from our 2000watt inverter. I got two 40 amp DCDC chargers - one behind the grille on the LC200 (to ensure it stays cool) and the second on the van (pictured in the rear boot). On the LC200 the RHS battery was swapped to a 100ah lithium to run the Waeco in the rear. In the van I upgraded both AGM batteries to 120X lithiums and the DCDC charger looks after these from an alternator feed as well as the roof top solar. I bought the Itech120 and the MPPT solar regulator a few months ago and have tested them many times already. It works great! I am really happy with it. I have only a 150w solar panel and it is capable of fully charging the battery even when it's overcast (what could not be done with the PWM regulator and deep cycle AGM battery). Replaced our AGM batteries with 2x 120x lithium’s one under the bonnet and the other in the canopy. Yet to be tested properly but we are heading away for 3 weeks on the road shortly which will be a nice test run however I’m sure they will be fine.
