The taste is good just as a tea in hot water (it does settle to the bottom of the cup) or sprinkled on overnight oats. Taken on an empty stomach in the morning The result was a headache and nausea. Could you please advise? If there is such a thing do you have a list of people who should not drink Amla? Can you drink this if your blood sugar is not high? I will amend this report after a few months and a blood test is taken to see if blood sugar is down overall or not.

Powder does not seem to mix completely with my tea and settles to the bottom. I mix it up periodically to make sure that I get it all. I drink Gunpowder Green Tea (from tea leaves) every morning with the Amla Green green tea powder . I drink the Amla Green with elderberry in the evening. I've only been doing this for about a week and sometimes have missed my evening dose. So far I don't see any changes in energy. I'm hoping that as I continue this path, I will notice some changes.

The pumpkin spice Amla flavor is really good. It has great flavor and is perfect for all my Christmas beverages. One thing I do note though, is that it does not dissolve as well as the other Amla varieties, there is always residue left in my tea cup.

I'm thinking I can only drink it in the morning because of caffeine sensitivity. I didn't order decaf. Just have one of the jars to a Type 2 diabetic, obese sister-in-law who isn't in to lifestyle changes, yet. Her drug expenses have put her into the Medicare donut hole! I keep working on her a little. Put in a suggestion she check local lifestyle medicine specialists in Seattle as her insurance change is requiring she find a new doctor for her diabetes. I was skeptical about how it would taste, but it really does taste good! (I have the hibiscus tea). The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars, is because it doesn't stay mixed while I'm drinking it. No matter what I do, and how much I keep mixing it during the time I'm drinking it, there is always a big chunk of it at the bottom of my mug. I like to sip my tea, but with this I feel like I have to chug it down or end up with "sludge" at the bottom. Perhaps I'm doing something wrong???

I have known about The the nutrional value of Indian gooseberry for about 3 years. I started putting the powder in a smoothie. The powder on its own. Is not that good tasting. After reading your Mastering Diabetes book, I ordered the Amla GreenTea Decaf. It is okay tasting. I drink it cold with a squeeze of lemon juice to enhance the nutrient absorption and add taste. I bought it to help my husband’s blood sugar instead it lowered his blood pressure and he had to go off as he kept getting dizzy when we walked — he stopped taking and no more problems when we walk—- did not notice a change in blood sugars — used about 7 days. I was going to try it for my blood pressure but did not want the caffeine — so we gave it to our son for his blood pressure problem and have not heard back yet. When we are able I would like to try the one without caffeine.

Have been using it for about a week or so. It is difficult to say how much of a difference it makes or not. Overall my sleep seems a bit better. Might need a bit more time to really see how much it does. Therefore I purchased 3 months worth since that is the minimum amount I want to give it. I like it as a mild hot tea. It doesn’t dissolve well in cold water, so I would recommend that you mix it with hot water then cool it down if you want to drink it cold.

I enjoy the tea. However, it doesn't totally dissolve. Unlike tea bags, the particulate remains in the liquid. I don't know whether the nutrients are in the particulate or in the liquid. So, to be safe, I stir and drink everything.
