Locomotive was very nicely detailed, ran smoothly and quietly. I added a 21pin LokSound 5 decoder and a scale sound systems speaker. The decoder was plug-and-play, the speaker was soldered in to pre-existing connections. 20 minute installation job.

I really love this sign and it is replacing one that sort of shorted out. So I had to throw it out because it was not working right at all. Now I have this sign so when I run my train with the lights off in my train room, I will have all of my signs all lit up while I run my trains.

This is a current production of Bachmann's low drivered 4-6-0 originally released under the Spectrum line during the early 2000s. It's a Ma & Pa prototype and a fine example of an early 20th century Baldwin with Walsheart's valve gear. I chose the Texas and Pacific model because it's decorated with a Russia Iron boiler jacket. I dusted off the Lionel my kids played with for my 2.5 year old Grandson. Couple drops of Lionel smoke and it started puffing like new. Wood stove scent is much more pleasant than I remember the original being.

I needed a way to separate my neighborhood of homes from the busy warehouse area with its semis coming & going. This N-scale concrete fence was just what I needed. I bought two sets to be certain I would have enough, actually only needed to use one. The pattern on the fence allowed me to trim it to the length needed to fit the scene. Several gates came with the kit & I used one to allow the neighbors access if someone knocks their ball over the fence.

The Paragon 4 series of BLI Ho Engines are just superb! My new Decapod starts slow and runs very smooth. The keep alive feature is a great addition as well. I have owned over a 100 BLI engines. They are all good but this series of products is the best!

A very heavy N Scale loco with great pulling power. Sound system is one of the best, and I have a number by various manufactures. The negative is that the long wheel base being on a solid platform will really test your track laying skill. I have a number of switches in line feeding sidings and the engine will bounce from side to side as it transitions through the switches feeding a number of sidings. These N-Scale F3s are great. A perfect balance between detailed and so overdone that parts break of while unboxing. They run a lot more smoothly than my camera work does. (Remember to set CV 29 to 7 on one locomotive to create a consist.) Paragon 4 sound is top tier. That's where BLI never fails.

I've wanted a Y6B ever since a fellow club member got on in 1969. Now I finally have one, and it is a beauty. The sound is awesome; that's easy to say, but I find all of the sounds I want (blowdown, coupler, air pumps, brakes, etc) either automatically applied or easy to activate. And out of the box it was a superb runner. I'm really happy I got this locomotive, and I received excellent service from FDH.

Had my old paragon 3 261 for awhile and I said to myself it’s time for an upgrade. So this new 261 is a huge improvement over the old one! Smooth runner, better sounds, and the fantasy scheme looks better in person in the pictures. My only complaint is that the original 261 cab chatter wasn’t carried over to this one. It’s only the default sounds. But overall, I do like this model and it’s a huge improvement over paragon 3.

My initial enthusiasm quickly melted down once I discovered that the main feature of this nicely designed truck simply doesn't work ... The truck should provide electrical pickup, but none of 3 ordered trucks was delivering it smoothly. The axles were turning with noticeable resistance, the received current was interrupted badly.
